Despite the reservation clearly stating the total price of the room, with all taxes and fees included. They charged additional taxes and fees! Incredible.

We really liked the hostel, we returned for 2 more nights. All together 4 nights. We really enjoyed the location, away from the busy town but still really close. Supermarket near by. The pool inside the hostel was fantastic, really great place to chill during the hottest hours of the day. Beach really close as well. The main entrance door could be solved better. It felt a bit weird ringing the bell after midnight and waiting for someone to open. I guess it's for security. Apparently the owners have no problems with that so it's ok.🙂 All at all, we would come again.

Some people have mentioned that they were charged extra upon arrival. Apparently it depends on whether you deal with the gentleman or the lady. I was trying to explain with my poor spanish that this is not the way Booking works. That the price for the customer is final as Booking shows. Hopefully the owners will talk to each other as it hasn't happed yet due to many complains. I hope the owners will take this as a friendly advice. 😉 Yo and the breakfast situation is a joke. Small, same every day. Would be very very happy to pay extra and get a real breakfast. However it was not offered. All at all, we would come again 🙂

The family was wonderful and kind.

Clean, full of amenities with a quiet, relaxed atmosphere just far enough away from the center of Montañita that you aren't kept awake by the noise but you're still within walking distance.

Pillows were kind of flat but that's all.

The kitchen was good and you can get surfing lessons in the hostal

The room was extremely dirty. One of the dogs pees close to the pool and the other tried to attack me. It's quite expensive and personally I don't think you get a good worth for your money.

Very nice design of the hostel, friendly staff and pets. In case, that the hotel is empty, you enjoy the pool and the pleasing sitting in front of the room. Good Wi-Fi. 300 meters from the supermarket, 900 meters from the bus terminal.

Extremely noisy air-conditioning (without ear plugs you won't sleep or there will be hot in the room, because the ceiling fan didn't work). The equipment is obsolete. The breakfast is very poor. After our check-in, the pool was full of loud partying people, which were occupating even the table and chairs, belonging to our room. So if the hostel is full, probably it's very, very noisy. The hostel is approximately 300 meters from the main road and during rain, the path is very muddy.

The room to our door did not lock. Also, if it rains, it gets pretty muddy to get there.

Very nice owners, they are helpfull and they make sure you have a good time. In the hostel you can enjoy the jacuzzi and pool table or chill at the bar. Close to the beach and only 5min walking to the center. So you have no noise of the nightlife. Would definetely stay there again if i would return to montanita.

We loved everything! The rooms are beautiful and clean. 3 minute walk to downtown. Great pool and hot tub. This place is amazing. Air conditioning, flat screen TV, has everything. Best place I've ever stayed. We will DEFINITELY go back. Everyone needs to see this place!

The owners were great. They are very close to a very nice beach.

Their door situation could be more accommodating. It's a little far from the center of town.

THE VERY CLEAN HOSTEL THE SUPER FRIENDLY OWNERS HAVE A VERY GOOD POOL AND JACUZZI AND THE COMFORTABLE ROOMS, THERE IS MUSIC. CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY HERE AND BRING CHAMPAÑA AND TORTA THEY LENT ME DISHES AND SINGED HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
