We had such a wonderful stay here! The hostel is beautiful, a few blocks from the beach, and a short distance to downtown. It's very quiet, very clean, and the room was spacious. Wifi was great too. The family that runs the hostel was so kind and made us feel at home. We were so sad to leave! Highly recommend!!

Absolutely great stay. Our room was clean and comfortable with netflix tv and AC (most importantly). Douglas and his family are really lovely people and we are so grateful to them for our stay - the children are so cute and fun to be around!

Douglas and his family were very welcoming and made our stay comfortable. We even got a room upgrade for free! The hostel was very basic and good value for money

The electric shower was very slow and also dangerous! My boyfriend accidentally knocked the shower head and received an electric shock.

Great location, just a bit out of town (like 5 mins walk away) which was ideal because any hostel in town would have been way too loud. Close to a great restaurant called La Terreta. The room was also much nicer than expected.

I really this little hidden gem. It is a very small hostel, closeby the center, but you don't hear the noise of it at night. The owner is really sweet and wants to make sure you have a wonderfull stay. You can use the kitchen if you want to cook something.

The staff was very helpful and friendly,, that's a great couple in charge. Great breakfast too!

The best hostel I've stayed in in Ecuador! Really nice design, everything seems to be pretty new, lots of security features, the owners are super nice people and take good care of the place. There are some lovely cats. The rooms are big with flat-screens, Netflix, a small desk and two chairs, sockets next to the bed, storing space, and a modern bathroom with hot water! There were no bugs. The location is great, close to everything (less than 5 minutes walking to any place of interest) but far enough so that you can rest in peace (though you can still hear the music, it's not loud enough to disturb). We felt super welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I just wish I could have stayed longer! Definitely coming back if I ever visit Montañita again.

Sapa inka is a perfect place to stay in montanita. Super close to the beach and restaurants but far enough to relax quietly. Danny is a great guy and will do whatever it takes to make your stay great. Highly recommended.

Danny and his wife Stin are exceptional hosts, always caring for you. The atmosphere of the place is very warm...buona onda! Very good location near the beach, and near the downtown but not to close so the place is very quiet too. The room was very clean and spacious. The wifi was good. I will go back
