They are fantastic hosts who thought of everything. The place was clean and organized. The neighborhood is located within a short walk of a pub, a park by the lake, a ruined castle, and a ruined church. In the room, there were assorted snacks, coffee, tea, and a stocked fridge with cheese, juice, and milk. In the backyard, there is a gazebo that is the perfect place to sit, relax, and enjoy the quiet.

Owner went above and beyond, including dropping us back to the wedding venue the following day to collect our car. We were not put under pressure to leave early, which was very relaxing.

Great location, Bernie host very friendly . Amazing hospitality supplying range of breakfast foods on a help yourself basis. TV Wifi etc all available. Very clean modest accommodation.

Bernie is super friendly and welcoming. We had the front double room . Comfortable bed, nice little ensuite, mini fridge with complimentary juice, milk, tea, coffee & biscuits Also fresh bacon, eggs and bread to cook for yourself in the morning or boxes of cereal, in the little shared kitchen, dining area. I definitely recommend this property, wish we could've stayed longer. Thanks for a great stay Bernie, from the Aussie's 😊

Nothing to not like.

The rooms had everything you needed and more. Location was peaceful and quiet with lovely views. Bernie and Willie were so accommodating and friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Kitchen had everything you could want which was a lovely surprise.

Spotless clean, warm. And comftable, I arrived late due to travel issues, however host send several messages to make sure I had a easy check in and everything I needed, would highly recommend salmon island view

Bernie was an incredible host. Very friendly woman who allowed us to sepf check-in, after which, we met her in the pub next door. Great vibe in the town. Lovely rooms. Comfy beds. All the facilities you need both in the rooms and the communal kitchen; fridge full to make a lovely brekkie.

One room was a little tight for 2 adults but a fab ensuite in all rooms.

Amazing value for the money we paid. Staff was very nice, breakfast wasn’t included but they offered it anyway. Definitely coming back and would recommend everyone. Great job 😊

Great place to stay.

We had such a lovely stay in Salmon Island View. Bernie and her husband are so kind and such excellent hosts. We were attending day two of a wedding. We asked Bernie about organising transport to the pub and she organised a boat to drop us. It was such a lovely surprise! We will be back…

The owners were very pleasant and helpful. They provided food items that we could prepare ourselves, at any time during our stay. The bedroom and bathroom was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We got to sleep in as the home was quiet. Also, there was a pub you could walk to for a meal and a beautiful Harbour just walking minutes away.

Salmon Island View was a great place to stay and provided my sister and I a mighty experience! We stayed two nights while doing some family history research in the area and had a very comfortable stay. Our room was cozy, but plenty of space. Nice hot shower, lots of little extras in the room- refrigerator, coffee, tea, orange juice and milk, as well as cereal, biscuits, and snacks. Even more breakfast items in the guest kitchen/dining room. The place is well situated on a country road - great for walks, 2 or 3 doors down from The Whiskey Still Pub for great dinners, and a 5- minute walk to the little harbor of Dromineer. The hosts were hospitable and welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. We had a grand time visiting with Bernie and Willie! We highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay there again

The property itself is beautiful. In a beautiful location. But what truly made a difference were the hosts. Two of the loveliest people I've ever met, that in true Irish hospitality, went above and beyond to make my stay magical. ✨

Lots of little extras to make your stay special. Lit fire in the evening, and you can cook a simple meal. Eat in front of the fire .... lovely ! Or, if you don't feel like cooking ... you can wander down to the pub a few doors down for a meal.

Location very good for Dromineer only a short walk to the lake or pub.

I would personally prefer a cooked breakfast rather than a DIY breakfast. And would like a greater choice of bread, just cut shop white was a little disappointing especially in Ireland so famous for soda bread.
