Location was good

The stink from the bathroom was like something died in there. The smell seeped into the bedroom and we could not sleep well because of it.

- beautiful room, clean - very good location - the host was extremely nice and helpful, offered us a lot of tips - you can easily find free parking around the location

- for some reason during the night there was a lot of noise, not sure what caused them

Die Zimmer waren ausgesprochen schön. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Service war unglaublich gut, Alessandro war sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Tipps für Restaurants/Sehenswürdigkeiten/etc. und die Buchungen dieser liefen sehr gut. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder!!

Nichts

Struttura recentemente ristrutturata, camera confortevole e pulitissima, posta al quinto piano di un palazzo con ascensore. Ottima colazione al bar poco distante. Parcheggio disponibile nella vicina piazza.

La posizione non è centralissima, soprattutto rispetto ad Ortigia.

tanto la habitación como las partes comunes son impecables. Todo de muy buen gusto, limpio y ordenado. El lugar del desayuno es buenisimo

The room had air conditioning, was spacious with a large double bed of reasonably comfort, a wardrobe for hanging clothes, one large and one small chair and a table along one wall. There was also a sofa that transformed into a pullout extendable bed. The bathroom was a good size with a shower, toilet and bidet. The communal room contained a sandwich toaster (but no bread toaster as such), a coffee machine, electric kettle and cups, glasses, plates and cutlery.

Our accommodation in Siracusa was in a reasonably quiet, though not attractive part of Syracuse, consisting mainly of five and six storey apartments. Our Unit was on the fourth floor accessible by lift. Our room contained a balcony with two chairs and a small table that looked out onto the street and the surrounding buildings. We had access to a shared communal fridge/ freezer (we were allocated one shelf for our items requiring refrigeration) . . . . there was no fridge in our room. There were no cooking facilities, tap or sink for washing in the communal room. Breakfast was included in the price and very basic, consisting of mainly of a croissant and coffee which was required to be taken at a nearby café. It is worth noting that in these apartments, sounds such as people talking and moving chairs around seemed to create a good deal of noise which could be heard from other rooms. The group of units in the building were in reality flats that were equipped with less than the normal basics. The level of security was difficult to understand, consisting of a key to the main H.D front door, another key to the access door on the floor of our apartment of our unit and another key to our unit. If you walked outside the unit with the keys inside you would find yourself locked out. The disappointing aspect of our time at the Prometeo Apt. was the accusation by the owner, that we had stained the black bench top in the community room (we have video evidence to prove that this is simply not true) and had removed a glass toothbrush holder (this accidently broke , we were prepared pay 20 Euros to replace the item but no more) For these two items he made a demand for 400Euros which was quite unwarranted and ridiculous. Ps Parking your car was a problem. If you managed to find a parking spot, you left your car there.

Gyönyörű és kényelmes szoba. Ingyenes parkolás a közelben, reggeli a szomszédos pékségben.

Picit távol volt a központtól, de 20 perc sétával elérhető :)

Alessandro is really very nice, very available, giving good adresses. Nice room very clean, with lot of light.
