This was fine for a 3 night stay while in town for work. Note: this is a duplex, the master bedroom wall is a shared wall. But the neighbors were quiet-so it was ok. Only a wall heater for the whole house but it stayed warm enough. Very nice TV but no instructions so we figured it out. Kitchen was fine, noisy refrigerator. Couch had a few crumbs from the last guests otherwise it was clean. Would probably stay here again.

The property was located close to the beaches and was very comfortable. It was clean and located at a central spot to areas nearby.

House was the perfect size for us. Was like the comfort of home. Close to the beach and the forest for hiking. House was clean and well stocked for extra blankets and towels. We all enjoyed our stay!

I never received an email with check-in instructions. The owner did not know the code to get in. I had to call the property manager, who did not answer, for the passcode. I spent an hour waiting to get the keypad code to get into the duplex because nobody knew what it was. Once I got in, the place was as advertised and was good for my trip.

Plenty of room for the four of us, and a nice location for the two trips we made to tour the Red Woods.

It was kind of a rough stay. Waiting all day for the door code to come and 15 minutes before check-in, we bothered him via vrbo messaging and he sent it over. So, nothing to panic about, but not great. The house was just okay. It smelled musty and just not great. We aired it out and felt it improved enough to close the windows. The bed had dog hair, the couch smelled pretty bad, every floor had dog hair....enough that when you went to put shoes on you were scraping dog hair off your feet. I pulled the blanket off the couch to use while watching a show and it smelled so bad I threw it in a wash cycle. I had to wash dishes as I pulled them out of the cupboard. There was enough dog hair to wonder if they had cleaned before we arrived. I suppose the house kind of felt like an unkept bachelor pad and I would not be pumped about having to stay there again. We didn't run for the hills but we were excited to check out. So, you won't die, but I wouldn't recommend it. PS. if the person renting next door snores, expect to get very little sleep. Paper thin walls.

Stayed with our family. Short walk to the beach and peer. Very clean and well setup for a family. Owner was very responsive when there was a problem with the washer and did everything he could to make it right. Overall a wonderful experience.

Good property. Bunk beds ok for kids not great for adult.

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here with my family. It was great the first time as well as this time. Hope to stay there again soon. Highly recommend, really clean and kid friendly.

Nice house with plenty of room for two of us.

I loved the area of this property. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. It was close to food, stores and walking distance to beach and lighthouse. Great driving distance to attractions and state parks. The house was clean, roomy with comfy beds. Kitchen has cooking utensils, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The living room has a couch to watch Netflix and dining area has table and chairs to sit down. These are just some of the great things this house has to offer. I would love to stay here again.

When we first arrived I was a little bummed it was a duplex as the listing says house, but VRBO does not have a duplex setting. While the listing says pet friendly, I would not agree with that. We came with our 3 dogs and upon arrival there was a note that dogs should not be left unattended. This ended up really screwing up our vacation as we typically leave dogs at home to explore and there were things we wanted to do like the aquarium that don't allow pets. Very disappointing. The couple in the duplex next door were pretty loud and sleeping was hard. Lastly, a repair man came on our last day to which the owners did not alert us. It was pretty crazy and made us feel very uneasy that we weren't alerted or asked if this was ok.

Great location, walking distance from the beach. Very clean and easy check-out.

What's a good place to stay in fitted my needs. I don't like the fact the owner gave me the code the day off. You should have at least communicate with me a few days in advance that you would give me the code The Day-O. It was 1 day out I had to get a hold of him. Wish he let me know more in advance that I will get the code the day off.

Clean and comfortable home with all we needed for a pleasant 3 night stay. Helpful host updated the Roku so we could watch superbowl and Olympics on 2 TVs. Clean fenced back yard for our Husky . Close to ocean , dog park and restaurants. Nice escape.

Not enough seating for a 3 bedroom place (1 sofa). Great area and amenities. We would return.

Great family friendly home, comfy beds, pillows, & bedding. Nice safe backyard for fur family. Washer & dryer for wet clothes. Host was easy to communicate with. Will definitely come back for short getaways, with the family.

Location was close to everything we love to do. The house was much larger than we needed, so definitely ideal for families. Walked to the beach daily, so ain or shine. Definitely recommend.

The smell of wet dogs greeted us upon entry and upon wiping down the bed and the bathroom, the wipes came away black. See photos of the stained bed sheets, black wipes and broken closet door. So nice to see the beach again! House was great, everything close. Beach and Redwoods, awesome, thank you David!

We enjoyed getting to the coast and being able to spread out some. Everything was comfortable, although more seating would be great in living room as it is where we spent allot of time. Had a really nice time at this home.

Property was as expected

This was a fun place to stay while we came to visit the Redwoods and beach. Cresent City beaches were super fun for the kids to collect sand dollars and see ocean life: hermit crabs and starfish. It was nice to have a cozy nice space to come back to after a fun day.

It was a nice stay , needs a bit of attention to doors and windows , overall a nice place to stay..!

A nice cozy, quiet, well located house. Which completely exceeded our expectations. We are going to try to make sure this spot is open again next year. 👍👍

We love Crescent City and this house is the perfect size and location for our big family. It had everything we needed.
