This property was absolutely perfect for our stay with our dogs! The home was conveniently located just off Atlantic, and walking distance to where the rest of our family was staying (Win-Sans), and offered all of the comforts of home! Fabulous fenced yard, on-site laundry, and plenty of extra amenities made our week in New Smyrna with out fur babies extra special! :) We would have extended our stay if we could have!

Loved our stay at the lazy pelican! Very short walk to Beach and all our favorite places on Flagler Ave. Flagler Tavern,Breakers, Clancy's and Treats on the beach. The house was very clean and had all amenities that you need.

The property was perfect for my dog and I and visitors that I had. Close to beach which is why I go to FL. Close to great shopping on Flagler Ave and great food. Had everything I needed. Great back yard/garage for my dog! Love it. Hope to return next year.

Street was safe and quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. Comfortable bed in a California Kingsize in master. Large fenced yard for da pooch. Area is very walkable. I wish I owned this home, i think that speaks for itself but in case it doesn't, We felt right at home the moment we pulled in the driveway! Our son and dogs were very happy as well!! None of us wanted to have to leave...ever!! Owner is great! Home and property is well maintained. Well stocked with everything! Great location near beach, shopping, restaurants, bars, and attractions!! I cannot wait to go back!!

We have stayed here several times and we really like where it is located and how nice it is. The front porch is perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine when ever it feels like 5 o'clock. The dog can run the back yard because of the fence and that's a real plus for us. It's a great place to spen a week or a month or whatever....

Have stayed at the Lazy Pelican for several years and always enjoy coming back. A block from the beach and a block to the main shopping and eating on Flagler Ave. If you have pets, there is a fenced in back yard. Great to sit on the front porch for coffee every morning. Rick tries to do some updates every year. Large and spacious master bedroom and one small bedroom with twin beds. Wish there were two bathrooms, but that's not possible!

This place is perfect for us, we have a dog and the back yard is fenced, the floors are wood. The furniture is comfortable and easy to clean. It's just two of us and a dog so just one bathroom is fine. It is close to the beach and to restaurants and shops. The only problem with this visit was the weather, too wet in the beginning and too hot at the end. If Florida needs rain just ask me to visit and it will rain. We like the place and will stay again.

Perfect location! Steps away from the beach and just a short walk to Flagler Avenue.... Very quaint beach neighborhood. Had a great time spending my birthday weekend here... Rick is a great host! Can't wait to get back! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!! Maureen & Marty

Everything was perfect. The beach so close and wonderful.

This is the second year we stayed here and we like it very much. It is close to the beach and close to down town. The backyard is great for the dog and the neighborhood is low key.

This was our second stay at this property and Rick is doing improvements every year. I don't think you will find a better place. All the convenience of home, and just a short walk to the beach.

Rick is very good to work with, he works hard to resolve any questions or problems. The house is very clean and he has more than enough supplies to carry you through the week. I have stayed in houses and condos all over Florida and this one was the best supplied and cleanest. The house is older but it has a lot of charm. You can walk to the beach or to dinning and all kinds of night life along Flagler Ave. All in all a great value.

The house is everything described and complimented in the other reviews. We had a great stay at the Lazy Pelican and in NSB in general. The house is very close to the beach and the shops. The house was perfectly setup when we got there and Rick was accessible for our questions. Would rent again for sure.

Our stay in this lovely home was great. It was everything it was advertised as being. Very clean and very well stocked. The location to Flagler Ave and the Beach was perfect. A short stroll and you were anywhere you wanted to be. I was able to bring my small dog and the fenced backyard really helped. Anytime I had a question before or during our stay it was answered immediately by Rick. Thank you.

My husband, son, dog and I just got back from a wonderful time at the Lazy Pelican in NSB. This place exceeded our expectations. We loved the open floor plan along with the beach themed décor which made it a fun place to hang out. It had all of the comforts of home; large screen TV, well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, towels, beach gear, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed the back yard and front porch area and the out-door shower was a very nice convenience. The location was exceptional, it was about a block from the beach and Flagler Ave. There was also a Publix within a couple of miles of the home. The neighborhood was welcoming and we felt safe throughout our visit. We spent most evenings on Flagler enjoying the shops, restaurants, live music, ice cream, etc. We spent a couple of days at the dog friendly beach/park and had a good time. Also, had fun at the Daytona Lagoon Water Park which was just about 20 minutes away. We recommend the Sub Shop on Flagler and a great place for breakfast is at Wake Up Café. We also loved the cold beer and live music offered throughout the day at Flagler Tavern. Rick, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. He seems laid back and the whole process from booking the home to departing was very smooth and easy. We highly recommend staying at the Lazy Pelican for a wonderful beach vacation.

Cute beach house, dated inside but has all that you need and you can't beat the location. Walking distance to beach, river, and shopping. Owner was very responsive and answered all questions.

Comfortable as always. We thoroughly enjoyed our winter stay at The Lazy Pelican. So close to all the activities on Flagler Ave. and to the beach. Property was clean and well stocked, as usual. We discovered a new eating place downtown on Canal St. called The Cork & Bottle. Small and intimate and really good food. Oceans was very good also, real casual and we always enjoy JB's and Blackbeard's. Loved sitting on the front porch every morning to listen to the birds and drink coffee. We had a pair of nesting doves in the palm tree by the porch this winter and watched the baby bird after it was born. Of course, The Breakers on Flagler is always the best place to go for a hamburger. Liked having the bicycles and a garage for our car. Plan to be back next winter.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house. Smartly remodeled and very clean. Everything you need is here and just a few blocks from the beach. Our little dog loved the fenced in backyard. Nice quiet neighborhood, walking distance to shops and restaurants on Flagler Ave. We can't wait to come back. Highly recommended.

The perfect location. House/yard beautiful and very clean. We felt at home at the Lazy Pelican and can't wait to go back. It was wonderful to walk to the beach and walk to Flagler Ave. for a drink, food, and some shopping. The fenced in yard was wonderful for our two dogs. New Smyrna Beach is beautiful and charming. The house is the perfection location.

Beautiful house only 1.5 blocks to the beach. Beutiful beach entrance as well with bathrooms, showers, and wood ramp lined with plam trees. House is perfect location, perfect size, and gorgeous outside and inside. Nice front porch and deck off back. All the amenities you can need, coolers, beach chairs, bicycles, beach towels, etc. Would certainly come back again. Only downfall, not a long enough stay. Love New Smyrna Beach and the Lazy Pelican!
