Lakefront House & Cottage ~ walk-in beach ~ a special spot where guests return
Dieses private Haupthaus mit Seeblick und separatem Gästehaus liegt auf einem Hektar am Ende einer Privatstraße. Es ist eines der wenigen Häuser mit privatem, begehbarem Sandstrand und westlicher Ausrichtung, ideal für Familien, die die Nachmittagssonne genießen möchten. Dock bietet Platz für ein 24 'Boot und ist auch ein großartiger Ort für das Angeln am frühen Morgen. Eine Hängematte ist zwischen zwei Bäumen gespannt und Adirondack-Stühle stehen auf dem Rasen, um zurückzuschlagen. Ein Weber Holzkohle BBQ verfügbar für das Kochen im Freien, ein Picknick-Tisch in der Nähe des Wassers und eine Wasserfront Kamin für die Nacht Lagerfeuer. Haupthaus für 7 Personen, voll ausgestattete Küche und Frühstücksraum, Steinkamin im Wohnzimmer, abgeschirmten Veranda mit Blick auf den See. The house and smaller cottage were perfect for our group of 10. There was plenty of room for all of us, the house was super clean, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, a gorgeous yard directly on lake, and the host (Bill) was very good about getting back to us with any questions we had. Also loved the location; quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Lake George Village which is a short drive away. Highly recommend! Hope to book again in the future.

We love our summer vacations here. It is a little slice of heaven and is a special place for everyone in our family—from 2 to 77. Owners are great and super easy to deal with. Location on the lake is ideal. And the sandy beach is perfect. Could not ask for better.

June was a wonderful time to be at Pilot Knob. The loons were fishing and calling directly off of the property. A true Lake George cottage with a sandy beach. The screened-in porch (with windows to close on cool nights) provides an expansive view across the lake. The cottage is comfortable and very well maintained.

Perfect spot on the lake
I stayed with family at this great home on Lake George and we would reserve it again without hesitation. There was plenty of space for our group of seven adults. The home and cottage was clean and we had everything we needed. Loved having the kayaks available for our use and you just can’t beat the view while relaxing by the water next to a warm fire. Thanks for the great week!

This is truly a beautiful property with picturesque lake views, gorgeous sunsets, and child (and barefoot out to deep water) friendly water access with a gently sloping sandy bottom. The cabin is very comfortable and full of history. My kids actually prefer the mattresses in the cabin to what we have at home. Bill was welcoming and super responsive. My family loves Lake George and this experience only made that love grow. Thank you!

Another awesome stay
This is the second time staying at this property and both times had awesome stays. Bill was extremely responsive to any questions we had and property/house was in great condition and clean on arrival. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Beach area is perfect for kids and kayaks, canoe, yard games is an awesome bonus.

Truly Magical
The place was everything and more. We felt so lucky to be able to stay at such a fantastic location - you can tell how much love went into the house and the lakefront. We made use of the kayaks daily, taught my parents cornhole and bonded around the fire every night. Bill and Beth were around and it was nice to meet them and know that they were accessible for any issues (hardly any) We hope to stay there again one day.
