This home is very clean and well appointed, with comfortable beds and plenty of towels. It was a great spot to stay while visiting friends in the area.

I'm local to the area but needed a place to stay for a few days. This house is so convenient to everything in Mooresville (including Clutch Coffee!) and to the interstate. The owner communicated all of the information clearly and was very pleasant. The house is in a cul-de-sac -- easy to find and not much traffic. Upon entering the property I noticed how clean it looked (and smelled) and I continued to be pleased over my stay. Furniture is comfortable and the kitchen/bathrooms have everything you could need without feeling overly cluttered.

Neighborhood was tucked away but close to everything. Good space for our needs, just recommend night lights for the littles because it got too dark for their comfort. Really appreciated the kids cups/bowls/plates, made it much easier. Would recommend this property and stay again.

We stayed here as a home base for our activities on Lake Norman. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the back patio and grill but maybe next time. Definitely will stay there again.

Has a great one-night stay at this lovely home in NC. The house was very clean, beds & furniture where all comfortable, lots of plates & utensils in the kitchen and the neighborhood was quiet. Heather did a terrific job of communicating with us. Should our future travels take us through North Carolina again we would not hesitate to stay here again.

I had a great time staying at this property. It was very clean, was in a nice neighborhood and the host left a list of places to go, with everything from restaurants to kayak rentals. I would definitely stay here again!

We rented this place for the 12th of May. Then the fuel crisis occurred and we were not able to travel to Mooresville. The owner was a nice lady who agreed to offer us the place or another day, provided it was not booked. Well, when I called her to ask her if could stay, she never answered the phone or replied to my text message comment. Considering the situation, she could have refunded us our money or at least allowed us to stay when we needed (5 days later). So, I paid for nothing.

We stayed one night on a stopover from Florida to Ohio. The house was clean and in a good neighborhood. The beds were comfortable. Communication was fast with the owner with some quick questions. We would definitely stay there again

This house was beautiful and centrally located to many area attractions including the balloon festival in Statesville!! Enjoyed coming back from the events planned into a wonderful place that made it so much more restful!!

Booked this place for family wedding in mooresville 27/05/2019 for 5 nights good location, shops 5 minute drive away, nice and clean well equipped property. Owner ( Heather) easy to deal with, really enjoyed our stay here would definitely recommend.

Very nice accommodations that were close to town, but still managed to be quiet & off the beaten path. Would highly recommend. Everything that we needed & more was provided. Nice to have 2 bathrooms & 2 bedrooms. Great for kids. Reasonable price.

We are 2 couples who are friends from high school who planned to meet at Southport. NC for the week-end. Hurricane Florence changed our plans. We looked at a map and chose a location. (Charlotte) half way in between where we all live. Heather's home is immaculate, comfortable, and in a great location. The house is 2 to 3 miles from shops, restaurants, and downtown Mooresville. The kitchen is fully stocked and easy to use. The living room furniture is comfortable and well suited for families. The beds are very comfortable. We appreciate that the sheets did not have a perfumed smell as 2 of us have aversions to perfumes. It would have been nice if the bed in the smaller bedroom had been moved a little further from the wall. The bathrooms are spotless, shiny clean, and linens plentiful. The hostess can not be more responsive. Heather replies almost immediately. We couldn't believe that we called Heather to figure out how to access certain channels on the television. Within 15 minutes, her husband had called back and upgraded the cable package to accomodate our football game watching needs! We would not hesitate for one moment to highly recommend this property! Even though, we did not end up in Southport, we are really glad that we discovered the Race City Retreat in Mooresville, NC!

Heather went above and beyond our expectations My mother & sister was in town for a family Reunion,being that she is 89 we thought a ranch style Home rental would be the way to go and was that the perfect choice Everything that was needed and more was available Heather made herself available if any issues that may arise,coming from Rochester,NY now my mom want to relocate to the Area! Thanks a lot Heather Now we need a rental trunk!!! Lol

Everything you need is in this home! Good quality bedding sheets, towels Wi-fi, Bluetooth speaker, games to play,. I would highly recommend this home to others.

Great location, close to restaurants. Rooms were very clean and neat. Highly recommended! Heather went above expectations when we left some clothing behind and she boxed and sent it immediately to us.

We had a wonderful time. The place was fully packed with anything we could need and more! Convenient to town and Lake Norman. Would definitely highly recommended to anyone looking to stay here!
