Been coming to Fripp 20+ years. Now that my family is grown, married with a grandchild, it was even better. House was well supplied with the basics and everything worked well. We brought our own chairs and beach items so didn’t use the beach items provided but they included chairs, umbrella and toys. House was very comfortable for 5 adults and one child. Air conditioner was nice and cold and there were also fans. Will rent again

We loved the 3 king beds and 3 baths. Worked perfectly for us - a couple and 2 single people. Beautiful marsh view, and the deer visited us quite a bit! Owner was very responsive to inquiries. We’ll probably be back here next year.

The property is just like the pictures and in a great location. Just a 5 minute walk/ cart to the pool which we went to every day ( after 6pm is the best time to go no one there). A 10-15 minute ride to the beach depending on where you go. We did some fishing and crabbing, did not get any crabs big enough to eat but it was fun. But the best part is the deer that roam all over the island ( you are not supposed to feed them but everyone does), my grandchildren loved it. We had several that came into our backyard every day and so my grandkids would go and feed them carrots, apples, blueberries, and even some cashews we had, they loved that part and looked for the deer as soon as they woke up in the morning. The house is great everything you need. Three big bedrooms with king beds and full size bathrooms in each bedroom. They also have a 6 seater golf to use we also rented another one because of everyone staying with us ( depending on time of year you go make cart reservations months ahead to make sure you get one). The owners are great and respond back very quickly when we asked them a question. We had a great time with my boys and grandchildren and would definitely rent this house again. Note if going there is a Publix and Walmart about 30/35 minutes away and you pass them on the way to Fripp Island so stop and shop.

If you enjoy the marsh as well as the beach this home is perfect! Our group enjoyed all the deck/outside space so much. Beautiful views of the marsh and wildlife. The home met ALL of our needs. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and just a short marsh walk away from all the beach club action. Our teenagers loved this fact! The home is very roomy and comfortable for family travel. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visits to Fripp.

This house is very convenient to the beach, to a walking trail, and comes equipped with a golf cart that takes you everywhere you need to go on the island. The house is well-appointed and the beds are very comfortable. Beautiful views over the marsh. We enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect Fripp House!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property we dubbed the “Tree House”! Sawgrass Bluffs is a great location on Fripp and this house was awesome! The kitchen was fully stocked, the bedrooms were spacious, and the multiple porches were great.

Great stay for family wedding
Family wedding on the beach with reception nearby. Most of the family stayed in condos, but this allowed us to some peace and quiet away from the others. Beds were not as advertised, 3 king size beds, but that worked well for us. No closet in one of the upstairs bedrooms, but all bedrooms had access to

Wonderful Trip

Amazing stay on Fripp
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Island! We enjoyed seeing the various wild life Around the house from the deer to variety of birds. The house was very clean and had a sophisticated sense of decor. The neighborhood we were in was very quiet just a short golf cart ride to the beach. Was neat to be able to walk to the crab dock just down the road. We will definitely be going back!

Relaxing Atomosphere
We enjoyed our stay. The house is older but in good shape. The kitchen had enough pots/pans/dishes that we were able to cook our meals. We were unaware you needed to be a member to eat at the restaurants on the island or rent kayaks or other excursions. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels for the four of us. The tv had Netflix and other options. Although not familiar with using that system, it was easy to figure out. There was a charcoal grill available and even a couple beach chairs. Overall we had a good experience.

Great experience
We really enjoyed our stay on Fripp Island. What an amazing place! I think we saw more deer than ever before. Needless to say our kids loved it!
The house was great too. Lots of space, great views and really quiet. Big plus for us was the golf cart. Only downside perhaps was the absence of safety belts on it, especially for our kids. But that didn't take away the fun of riding it (even in the rain, which it did all day on Saturday).
All in all, a great stay on Fripp Island and Beaufort area.

The island was great, the house less so.
Older home showing its years. Little things missing irritated -- no hot pads, no measuring spoons, no bikes in any condition, none of the usual beach gear left by other visitors as is customary at Fripp, no trash cans in downstairs bath or bedroom, grill minimal and not clean, several cockroach chases. boards broken in outdoor foot shower. And in 30 yeast of coming to Fripp, we've never had to make our beds on arrival. Will come back to Fripp but not to this house.

Granddaughters and I truly enjoyed our stay in this well established island home. Very relaxing and comfortable. Back porch overlooking the marsh is where we spent most of our time when not on the beach or exploring the island. Beds were comfy or we were totally exhausted from our fun filled days, because we all slept great!
As the home is not new, we still had everything we needed and plenty of room to spread out. And while the Club has many things to offer, we were there to enjoy the beach and wildlife! We love that golf carts are the biggest mode of transportation on the island and that one is included with this home.

Great place for a family
We were very pleased with our stay at the Christmus house on Fripp Island. The pictures on the website were accurate as were the descriptions. It was a very quiet neighborhood without a lot of homes close by, so you felt like you had some space. The golf cart was a great addition to the house as everyone on Fripp seems to get around this way. The furniture was up to date and comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are functional but more dated as the pictures show. All appliances worked great. Great place for a family.

Island paradise!
We absolutely enjoyed our week here and will be back! We have 4 little kids including a 6 month old baby so I really needed the convienence of having access to the house, pool and beach to accommodate nap times and fun times for the older kids! This house did it all for us! I could feed my early risers in the breakfast room without waking up everyone and the living room was a great hang out for the whole gang at the days end. The golf cart was my 2 year olds favorite part ! We were able to enjoy the island and all it offered and comeback to the house for r and r. I recommend this home!

Fripp Island is a great place! We have stayed there before. Wonderful place for children and teenagers. Several pools, the beach, activities all week, most people using golf carts for transportion, and wildlife to enjoy.
The house was very spacious and comfortable. Pictures don't do the house justice-very roomy. We had seven people; 2 adults and 5 15-17 year olds and were very comfortable. It came with a golf cart which was great because you need one there. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. And there was a charcoal grill.
There were some issues with the house but not anything major enough to upset our stay. Mostly due to general maintenance and cleaning. The wood flooring at the top of the stairs was loose and a hazard for tripping, several of the light bulbs needed to be replaced, water spots on the ceiling upstairs, the solar lights leading to the house were broken, the top portion of the hand rails on the decks (round ends) were broken, etc. The main issue I had was with the cleaning. Although when we walked in it appeared clean, there were issues that soon began to appear. The closets were junky with random stuff that made it hard to put your stuff in. For example the hall closet was about half filled and the downstairs bedroom had most or the bottom closet space taken up with extra flooring. But the the actual cleaning needed to be addressed. There were spiderwebs hanging, the floors looked they had been swiftered but not really cleaned in a while (corners in the kitchen had built up dirt), handprints on windows, the couch had debris under it, and the show stopper - one of the kids found an used diaper under the bed.
We had an issue with the hot water heating breaking and having to be replaced. The owners responded quickly and apologetically. This went smooth and didn't disrupt out stay. They handled this very appropriately.
Final take: I think maybe the owners may need to check up on their maintenance and cleaning people but overall the vacation was a good experience.

Wonderful end of summer vacation
My family of 5 rented this home the week of 8/13 and had a wonderful visit. We loved the location on the island as it was central to most anything we wanted to do. The beaches were wonderful and it was nice having the community pool within walking distance. My family absolutely loved the house, golf cart, etc. Besides a few mosquitos, the bugs on Fripp were not an issue at all. We will be back next year! Thanks for a great stay!

Issues with Cockroaches
We have stayed in a number of houses on Fripp in this price range and found this was our least favorite experience. This was towards the end of the season and the house had been well used.
What Worked:
- Our kids loved the private pool in the neighborhood
- House felt spacious enough for our family
- Golf cart included
- TV included Roku which was a nice feature
What Didn't Work:
- We battled with cockroaches the whole week in the house. We had a variety of sizes (big to very small) and couldn't isolate where they were coming in or from despite spraying ourselves.
- House was clean in high-traffic areas, but dirty elsewhere (we found a number of items left behind from previous renters and dust)
The owners were very nice to work with which we appreciated.

The house was beautiful and everything was as promised! The owners were easy to work with and responded promptly to any questions we had. I liked that the house was kind of tucked away in a quiet residential area of the island. We had family that stayed near the marina the same week and it was just too busy in that neighborhood!
Next time we visit Fripp Island, we'll definitely be booking this house!

Great family vacation home
This has been the 6th time we have stayed at this location and we have loved every visit. Very clean and comfortable house. This is a great place to stay with either couples or families. I would recommend this location to anyone wanting a fun stay alt Fripp. We will be returning in August for our anniversary trip and can't wait to get back.

Beautiful home
This is a beautiful home. My whole family enjoyed it. Nice comfortable furniture . Plenty of room for everyone. I would recommend this home to anyone. We lived thus vacation home and Fripp Island!! You can't go wrong with the location on a quiet street backing to the marshland. There was nothing better than a cup of coffee on the back deck. We loved the island and the house! The home was comfortable and clean and positioned perfectly to take in all that the island had to offer. Our children were able to explore the marsh and the beach was a quick walk over a bridge away!
Our daughter woke up sick the first morning and the Urgent care center in St Helena was fantastic. Quick and so thoughtful!
We recommend taking a trip into the State Park on Hunting Island. The beach was different than the one on Fripp. Beautiful lighthouse and jungle like surroundings!

We rented this home the week of my son's gradation from the Marines. The house was more beautiful than the pictures. The rooms were spacious with plenty of bathrooms. The mornings were beautiful on the marsh watching all the wildlife off the deck and the evenings were peaceful and quiet. It was by far the best vacation we had in a very long time. The drive to Parris Island was a beautiful one. There was so much to do and so much to see. We were very pleased with our stay at this Fripp Island home, I would recommend this property to anyone looking to spend some time in low country. We definitely plan on returning!
