Worth its money U have live music on weekends, band performances and live telecast of cricket matches. Accessible through transport even though it is at upper dharamkot.

Needs to have a common area for activities.

The service at Alt life is spot on, the managers are very professional and the whole property is very well built and managed, and the Cafe is simply amazing, this is the best hostel in DHARMKOT , no doubt about it.

Very friendly staff, nice location, we stayed in the cottage which was clean and well equipped. Nothing to complain.

There is life music, which is nice, but a a little too loud sometimes. However the music ends at around 10 - 10:30pm, so no problem unless you want to go to bed really early.

The hostel is absolutely beautifull! The staff is very kind and friendly. They were so helpful and made us feel really welcome. The location is lovely and situated in a peaceful neighbourhood with a good selection of small shops, cafes and restaurants. The hostel had really great live music concerts on all the nights we were there, which was amazing!

Staffs are friendly. Room decoration is charming and comfy. Love environment and weather here. There are a lot of activities around the place in short and long walking distance for you to explore e.g. traking to Triund, shopping at Tibet market, yoga, meditation, sound healing. Recommended !

Good location. Large room. Reasonably quiet most of the time. Cappucino and hot chips were good (when the power was working). Staff friendly.

Booking said heating would be provided but had to ask (beg) for a heater - for which they were going to charge us extra - and when we got one it only provided a small amount of warmth. Frequent blackouts on cold days/nights were very unpleasant (and no hot water during blackouts). Shower had no door, so was a damp mess. Exchanged broken tea kettles twice before we got one that worked properly. Booking was way overpriced for the service and facilities provided compared to neighbouring properties. Fresh towels had to be requested every few days (not automatically provided). Staff very young and friendly yet were slow to respond to most request (need more open and responsive communication to resolve issues).

Location wise very poor. very poor communication.
