I read the past reviews that were most critical so I wasn’t surprised when I checked in since I researched. Do your research & as long as you know what you’re signing up for, you’ll enjoy the house. Great: - The view - Absolutely spectacular w/ sunset views & access to the beach. If water/beach access with a view is your top priority, this is a great spot - Location - Great. Room for improvement, but expected based on pictures and reviews: - Furniture is old, have loss of cushions/comfort. Rugs are old and stained. But- what’s pictured in the listing is accurate. It’s time for new bedding. - We took our dogs & appreciate the dog friendliness. If someone in your group has a dog allergy, don’t stay here. Right when we walked in, I noticed dog hair stuck in the rugs (not my dog hair.) - The grill is mentioned in other reviews and I took it with a grain of salt. The problem is: It’s already so dirty and filthy that it was unusable. It’s time for a new grill. Dont expect to use it. Not to mention, it’s stored in a storage closet and tough to get out. - The house itself is in rough shape & its clear deferred maintenance has been neglected. Windows are damaged, base boards are broken off, cabinet door is missing. Etc - It’s simply not clean. A deep clean needs to happen. Baseboards, walls, windows, dust everywhere, cobwebs, air vents are FILTHY, etc Unexpected: - No toiletries are provided For the luxury price, condition of home and amenities need to improve.

Loved the view! Very comfortable house, with an interesting layout. We were there off season, so not sure what its like in the summer, but very comfortable and quiet in early spring.

The property is as advertised, a beautiful home on the beach. The downstairs game room was great, we really enjoyed playing pool. It was nice having the beach right outside your door, especially with all of the stuff we brought for our younger guest. We had an issue with the central AC not working, but the owner responded quickly and brought over some portable units that sufficiently cooled the house. Overall we were very happy.

We had an amazing stay in Cape Cod and this beautiful home. The location can not be beat. You are in the center as far as getting to all towns in Cape Cod, but you don’t have all the traffic of other towns. It’s quiet and peaceful. It’s wonderful to walk out the back door to the private beach. The views are amazing!! Wonderful to wake up to the beautiful views right out the window. The home is great. Has everything you need in the kitchen. It can use some TLC, little updating, nothing major. Some new shower heads possibly. Having said that, we would absolutely stay at this home again!! We absolutely loved it!!

Great location that is centralized enough to visit the entire Cape. We were early in the season, but a quiet neighborhood with fantastic water views. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful during the check-in/checkout process. Some suggestions would be bedding and general housekeeping. You are required to make your beds. It would be nice to have this already done while on vacation. The house was going through some general exterior upkeep, which is expected for an ocean home, but construction supplies were lying around on the deck, which created a hazard. We had to pick up multiple screws and nails throughout our stay to avoid hurting anyone.

My husband and I loved staying here for our babymoon. The ocean views are unbeatable and the property is so unique! Would definitely come back!

This was our third time renting this house — we’re already planning our return next year! House is very comfortable with many spaces for a large group to spread out. Since we visited in January, our favorite spot was relaxing in the living room looking out at the ocean. Thank you!

The view and location of the property was amazing. However, the property is poorly maintained. The back door to the deck wouldn't open and close. We had to walk around the house to enjoy the back deck facing the ocean. Master bedroom window had no screen so you couldn't open the window and enjoy hearing the surf. Many light bulbs out throughout the house. We understand houses right on the ocean take a beating, but this house looks like nothing has been done in years. All doors and windows were in terrible condition. The Vrbo pictures of this house look like they were from years past not current. the owner needs to spend some money on up keeping. All houses in the area were much better maintained.

My wife and I spent three nights here for our 30th anniversary. Listening to the waves crash on the beach was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet neighborhood, at least in September. Owner was flexible on dates, we moved everything one day later due to the weather and it worked out great

The location of this house is the obvious prime attraction. Immediately on the ocean, with direct access to a somewhat private beach stretch. Dennisport is a fantastic spot on the cape as well, central to most major attractions and with services fairly close. The house is well kept and appointed, though we did find some curious gaps in the kitchen supplies and the bedroom layout somewhat awkward with multiple families present (there is a room with two queens and no wall in between). I would also recommend some landscaping work in and around the grounds, particularly with a house at this price point. In the end, however, the views, overall house (cathedral ceilings, windows all the way up), and location superseded any minor complaints about the house itself.

The location of the house is in a very nice area. The private beach was terrific for the family. The kitchen was excellent for preparing meals along with the outdoor gas grill. We would stay here again.

My family and I had a perfect long weekend getaway at this unique oceanfront home. The owner was very responsive and answered questions promptly. Modern and well appointed, it sits directly on the water with steps to a private beach, close to everything, yet very private and peaceful. The photos do not do it justice, as the kitchen and rooms are much more spacious. The views of the ocean from the deck, main room and master bedroom were particularly breathtaking, and hearing the sound of the crashing waves throughout the day provided the rest and relaxation we needed. The home was very clean, which was much appreciated, especially given the times we are living in. The foosball and pool tables in the large basement were a fun option at the end of the day connecting with family and the area could serve as a safe, large play area for children. We plan to definitely return in the warmer weather when we can more fully enjoy the deck and beach!

Perfect winter getaway great for snuggling under a blanket and reading, doing puzzles, playing games, and cooking fabulous meals. And for you outdoorsy folks we did a polar plunge just outside the back door, went for brisk walks along the beach. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving at this beautiful house. The views were fantastic from every angle with plenty of space to spread out. The owner could not have been more attentive and responsive - he was wonderful. If you are looking for a spacious place to relax right on the water, you found it.

Excellent trip!

The house is beautiful. The owner was helpful and responsive. We had a very relaxing time just watching the water and walking the beach. We were seeking some peace and found it. Also at night, after a brilliant sunset, it was fun to go down to the game room and play some pool and foosball. 🙂 We will definitely go back again.
