Everything was perfect. The house provides everything one needs, and then some. Our stay was so comfortable and enjoyable. My family could not stop exclaiming about the high-quality mid-century modern design and decor--stunning. The photos do not do justice to this rental. Highly recommend!

This home exceeded our expectations. From the beauty of the location; the flow and ambience of each of the rooms; the well-stocked kitchen (appliances and condiments), bathrooms and even the laundry room— we could not have had a more perfect week. And oh—the QUIET (and visit by a red-shouldered hawk!)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is beautifully decorated, and I must say that the pictures do not do it justice. We loved the many MCM/vintage pieces. It's also in a great location in a lovely neighborhood. We will definitely look to rent this home again whenever we return to the Mill Valley area.

Our family of four adults headed to Mill Valley for a Celebration of Life for a friend who had lived just a short distance from this rental. We'd visited him from the East coast before and knew just how special MV is. The area is so soothing and relaxing...and this home takes full advantage of the natural surroundings and peaceful environment. Big windows let in dappled sunlight filtered by towering trees. It has everything you could want from an unbelievably well stocked kitchen to a variety of bathroom products I'd never seen provided in other rentals. The artwork and decorative items are amazing. The short easy walk into town makes it the perfect place to get a special cup of coffee in the morning or a delicious dinner in the evening without having to get in the car. But if you do have a car, there is off street parking right in front of the home...not something you'd find at many rentals in the area. If you don't do stairs, this might not be the home or town for you. They are everywhere!
The property manager is a delight to deal with and communication is incredibly easy. I've already shared the link with friends who are planning a northern California get away! It's an A+ rental.

This home is beautiful, stylish, comfortable and fun! We enjoyed feeling right at home while visiting our son and granddaughter in Belvedere. The artwork is a treat. Adrienne is an amazing concierge - very responsive and helpful with suggestions.
The kitchen and house have everything you could possibly need. We're in our 70s but the two flights of stairs (with handrail) from the car to lower entrance were not a problem.
Downtown Mill Valley is a short, level walk. Supermarkets are a short drive. We visited the city of SF twice where we strolled through the Union Square district, enjoyed SFMOMA, Pier 39, Aquarium of the Bay and had a superb dinner at Michelin-star Mr. Jiu's in Chinatown. Took a walk through Mill Valley's Bayfront Park. Wineries are an easy drive including Flowers in Healdsburg and Bogle in Clarksburg. We would love to stay here again. Thank you, Adrienne!

This was the perfect house for us as we returned to Mill Valley for our first visit since we moved away five years ago. We enjoyed relaxing each evening after visiting old friends, sites and restaurants. It truly felt like we were living in a treehouse. With luxurious amenities.

Really loved staying at this house. It's such a cute house and decorated in such a fun, eclectic way. Our two kids (13 and 11) love all of the "retro" touches in the house. The location was fantastic. Communication with the host was great and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this rental to others coming to the area.

Terrific house. Has lots of extras… heated floors (heavenly), steam shower, fancy coffee maker etc! To be honest we didn’t even turn on a TV other than in the kitchen. It was a lovely “tree house” to enjoy conversation and reading. Best part for us… the kitchen table. You will not be disappointed!!

This is a gorgeous house: Very well built, with solid doors & windows, gorgeous stone tile in the bathrooms, vintage &/or mid-century inspired lighting and decor and fantastic original modern art pieces. Overall, it is a comfortable and very well appointed dwelling, with sunlight filtering in through the trees. We especially appreciated the radiant heated floors. Our only challenge was unlocking the outside doors. It took a few tries by several members of our family to finally get one of them unlocked upon our arrival. We were also unsuccessful in getting the bluetooth to work in order to stream music, but we ultimately didn't feel it was enough of an issue to contact the concierge about.

This is our go to house in Mill Valley. The location can't be beat and the overall energy of the home is comfortable yet posh with well appointed appliances and furniture and interesting art. It is a beautiful place to spend time.

This property was everything and more. We have stayed at other rental properties in the past and they all felt as such. This property really felt like a home with all kinds of little touches and amenities. It was very clean, well kept, had lots of towels and bedding if needed also. We really loved the kitchen, it had everything we needed to cook. It was perfectly located for our plans just north of San Francisco which made it easy to get into the city and relatively short drives to wine country and Muir Wood right near by.
The service we got from the property manager, Adrienne, was top notch. Instructions were clear and she was always very responsive. We will definitely be looking to stay here again on future trips.

Lovely treehouse in magical Mill Valley
This house is truly special. We stayed for a few days to enjoy redwoods and easy access to the adorable town of Mill Valley and the Pacific. The house is spacious and lets in beautiful natural light. It is well-equipped too with a gorgeous kitchen, steam shower and washer-dryer. My partner and I enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely be back.

Great Stay for Work Trip
I had to book a space for a small work gathering last minute. This property was perfect. It provided everything we needed with a nice mix of indoor/outdoor space and enough space for everyone to sleep. The property manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Family-friendly, elegant Mill Valley rental
A charming redwood shaded walk to downtown mill valley. Excellent coffee maker and truly beautiful light in this cozy custom home. Luxurious bathrooms with steam shower and deep tubs felt relaxing and fun for kids and adults. Great access to hiking trails. The property manager was extremely helpful and even left a note for baby and mom to get comfortable in a rocking chair. Such a warm welcome! highly recommend.

Mid Century Charmer
From the moment we arrived, we knew it was the perfect place to call home while visiting the bay area. The home was well appointed in every detail. From the spa like master bath with steam shower and towel warmer to the fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Our host Adrienne was absolutely the best. She was quick to respond to all our questions when booking it and checking in was a breeze after a long day of travelling. During our stay in Mill Valley.. Mother Nature decided to bless us with an atmospheric river (AKA known to us Floridians a tropical storm) but we felt safe and were thankful for the board games and cards to make the rainy day enjoyable. If you are planning a trip to San Francisco and bay area, we would highly recommend this home.

Idyllic
This property is the rare intersection of a perfect home, perfect location and perfect management. Everything is thoughtfully laid out and at your fingertips before you even realize you need it. Really enjoyed the styling and decoration. Cant really do it justice here, except to say if youre visiting the area you cant go wrong with a stay here. Would definitely stay again without hesitation.

wonderful forest home!
The house is in one of the canyons just to the west of downtown Mill Valley. You can walk along a lovely creek and be in downtown in 10 minutes. Mill Valley is sort of a hidden gem in the Bay Area and this house has all of its charm. Inside the house is fabulous, especially the living room and kitchen. There's a lower room with laundry machines but it felt a bit gloomy, as with many basement rooms. The kitchen is well-designed and has everything you need to make literally anything. My daughter easily figured out how to bake a chocolate cake, something that's often tricky in an unknown kitchen.
The checkin process was a tad confusing as the house is up on a hill and has two entrances. Parking down below you climb up stairs to a terrace with a table. After that, you need to walk around the house to the right to the upper entrance, which is the main door of the house. After getting in we just used the other entrance closer to the lower parking lot.

Best of the best!
Spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful home and that’s exactly what it felt like … home. It’s so amazingly decorated yet comfortable and wonderfully appointed with all the amenities you could want. The kitchen has all top of the line appliances and a cozy breakfast nook. The neighborhood is lovely and only a short walk to town. Great central location to all the area attractions. Adrienne was very professional, accommodating and responsive to any requests. Highly recommend this property and look forward to a return visit.

We were 2 couples exploring San Fran, Marin Co, and Sonoma. Great location for all these locations. House was super relaxing and enjoyed starting our mornings sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee and admiring the trees and birds.

True gem in the heart of Mill Valley
This home makes the top of our list of most enjoyable, comfortable stays ever. Words can’t even describe the incredibly tasteful and unique retro-style decor of this multi-level house surrounded by trees. Every day was a shear joy to wake up, relax, and spend time here. Location is superb, short walk to the cutest downtown for coffee, lunch or to pick up dinner at the many great restaurants. The staircase trail system in Mill Valley is so nice and allows you to explore the neighborhoods by walking (while getting a good exercise too). It feels you have entered a different world where everyone is happy and enjoying life. We were sad to leave after our three weeks stay, it truly felt like this place had become our own home. We will be back for sure! Adrienne was a fantastic host and so accommodating, and easy to communicate with. Highly, highly recommended!

Great stay with a toddler
We stayed 4 nights with our 14 month old son and had a terrific time. The house is even better than the photos and is incredibly comfortable, beautiful, and relaxing. Moreover, the property manager is incredibly responsive and even bought a high chair for us to use during the stay. We would absolutely stay again if we’re in the area.

Perfect Mill Valley House
This was an absolutely wonderful house for a couples vacation in Mill Valley and the San Francisco area. Not only lovely furnishings but all of it was high quality and extremely comfortable. We loved our mornings and evenings hanging out in the kitchen and/or living area. The bedrooms have great mattresses and the bathrooms were well stocked with towels. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal but you can also take a nice walk to town and choose from several good places to eat. We would love to stay here again!

Wonderful oasis!
This is the second time that we have stayed at this property because we enjoyed it so much the first time. It is the perfect spot to spend time around San Francisco and not have to be stuck in the city. And Adrienne was responsive to our every need. Highly recommend this home away from home!

Wow....wow....wow....WOW
We have rented homes on VRBO for at least 10 years and rarely have had any issues. This house was our favorite of all. It was stocked extremely well, was in an amazing wooded setting close to San Fran and so much more and had amazing furniture and design. I found myself sometimes just sitting in the living room with the windows open and looking at all the unique design features. Adrienne was very quick to respond and pleasant to deal with overall. We highly recommend this to small families or a couple who appreciates design and getting lost for a few days in pure relaxation.

Lovely Mill Valley getaway
Overall this is a really nice place. I gave it 4 stars only because it wasn't the best fit for our family.
Pros:
-The house is lovely, the art, the collectibles, the modern sensibility is fun.
-Great location. Easy walk to downtown Mill Valley which is charming and must have the most hair salons per capita of any town in the US. Also easy access to Sausalito, San Francisco, Muir Woods and more.
-The kitchen was well equipped and stocked.
-The house was clean, well maintained and has a nice homey feeling
-Adrienne, the property manager, is great! Very responsive and helpful.
-Like the trees all around the house.
Cons
-This is a great place for adults/couples but not ideal for families with teens/younger kids, at least not for us. Our kids would have been happier if there were things to do such as having a basketball hoop, ping pong table, or other activities of that type. Just something to keep in mind.
-The house has a ton of stairs, was ok for us, but would not be good for someone with physical limitations.
-The windows don't have screens so mosquitos get in if you leave them open.
-Parking up top by the front door is tricky - but you want to unload up there or else you have to carry bags up a long ways. The road is windy and narrow so need to be careful.
-Key only opens the front door which means you need to walk down and around to the car park below.
