Our stay was quiet and comfortable. I think sleeping 6 could be challenging. The place was clean and the kitchen was stocked pretty well. It had 2 loveseats in the living room area and a table and chairs in the dining area. The condo definitely could use some updating as the paint and the decor looks like it’s been there at least 15 years or more. The newest telephone book was from 2018. The beds were comfortable and for the price I would stay again. There is a slight view of the Gulf from the front bedroom. All in all it was a good stay for the 4 of us.

The place is dated but in good shape, typical of condos in this price range. My biggest complaint is the pillows are small and flat. There is no reason not to have decent pillows Otherwise, was as expected and very conveniently located directly across the street from the beach.

This was our second time to stay at this rental. Everything was perfect and clean. My only thing I’d improve or that might make me consider renting elsewhere is better mattresses and pillows. Definitely bring your own pillow if staying here. We returned for the great location right across from beach access 22.

We had a wonderful stay for 3 months. We had excellent service from Melissa when our tv would not work. The furniture on the balcony needs to be removed as it is very rusty and very cluttered so that it makes the balcony hard to enjoy.

Getting key was no problem, pay attention to exact name of your building. Very Clean and comfortable. A little walk away from beach, overall wonderful place to stay. We will be going back :)

Convenient location, great space
We stayed in July 2022. This property was clean and spacious. We loved having two bed/bath. The kitchen had everything we needed and more (we did easy meals/not lots of cooking). The coffee pot looked brand new and sparkling clean. We picked this property for the location and it did not disappoint. Short walk to beach access 22, perfect view of fireworks by Clayton’s off the end of the balcony, great pool area, Kelly’s pub right down the street! My two year old appreciated the step stool as she used it daily in the bathroom.
My only complaint would be the couches were not comfy for lounging (did not pull out the sofa bed). The beds/mattresses were very hard. This didn’t keep us from getting sleep but we were a bit sore from them till we got moving each morning.
I would definitely stay again.

You are paying for location, which was great. The condo is very outdated. Too much furniture, you could barely move around the bed or bathroom. Enjoyed easy beach access. So many rules, I guess they’ve had their share of party goers. Would I stay again...maybe.

Good place for family
We liked this condo a lot. Neighbors were very friendly. Pool was nice. Condo was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed the area and our stay. Would like to give just a couple suggestions to make the next persons stay a little more enjoyable. Maybe add some extra pillows and blankets. Water heater needs addressed took forever for hot water. And 10 am is super early for checkout when traveling with children. Other than those minor things were really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The check in procedure was simple and efficient. The Good: Washer/Dryer, Deck/Porch, King sized bed, Full sized fridge. Surfside seems to be well built and solid. The things that could be improved are: Remove the clutter. Too much furniture and dishes for the space allowed. The deck out front is also very full of chairs and benches with little room for anything else. Also the AC closet had a strange gurgling sound that would come and go. Overall we were pleased and would definitely stay again.

El apartamento era viejo, bien equipado , limpio excepto el suelo que te dejaba los pies negros. Los sofás estaban bastante sucios. La cocina a falta de utensilios y triturador del fregadero no funcionaba. Apartamento bien ubicado muy cerca del acceso a la playa. El precio del apartamento muy elevado para lo que es.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We loved the kitchen! I think we spent most of our time sitting on the balcony people watching! The beach access was maybe a 1/4 block down, so not far. This was the cleanest condo we have ever stayed in.

Perfect location and a great condo!
Perfect beach location for my family. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning and evenings. The condo was close to everything you need or want (stores, restaurants, etc). Just a few steps from the beach access, it was perfect! This comfortable condo was a great place to relax after a day at the beach. Plenty of room for a family to spread out and relax.
The electric grill did not work, and we had bought food specifically to use it. Though charcoal grills were available by the pool. The pillows on the beds were not the best and we were glad we had brought our own.
But overall, completely perfect condo & a great vacation! We can’t wait to come back and will stay here again!!!

1st stay w/ VRBO
OMG! This place was PERFECT for our family and our dogs. The pics on VRBO do not do it justice at all. Very quiet and peaceful and our doggos loved it too. Whenever we come back to South Padre, this is a definate must stay again. Perfectly close to beach access with a short walk and the hot tub and pool were lovely too.

I had no complaints about the condo. It was fine. Walking into the facility felt like walking into a low rent apartment building. The walls were dirty, the outside was unkempt. It really bugged me every time I went in. The property management company was incredible. I would use them anytime.

Our stay at Surfside II
We loved the place location, which was so close ad conveniently close to the beach. we did not like that the location swimming pool was full of bugs and hadn't been cleaned in a our entire visit. There were also two remote controls that we couldn't use due to them not working or needed batteries. Other than that we really enjoyed out stay.

Our vacation was great! The condo had everything we could’ve asked for. If we had stayed longer we would’ve done some cooking. Kitchen was equipped with all needs. Laundry room was a plus! Balcony was great for morning coffee and for my toddler bacon and scrambled eggs. She loved it. Parking was easy and close to restaurants and shops for walking. We will definitely be back.

The property’s location is very convenient for beach access. The unit itself is outdated in the kitchen. Can totally live with that since cooking wasn’t an important factor in our stay. Our biggest disappointments were the quality of the mattresses, the age and uncleanliness of the living room sofa, the need to bring your own soaps and shampoos, and the dirty floors (our feet were nearly black from dirt).
