The location is peaceful. The cottage is cozy and well equipped. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable.
The issue of the poor quality water was not disclosed until payment had been taken and prior to our arrival.
The shower is fine but the tap water runs brown. Not suitable for drinking and not appealing for a bath.
The washing machine is handy but you cant wash whites as they will probably discolor.

Leider war das Internet nicht allzu stabil. Mit kleinen Kindern etwas unglücklich…

The cottage is perfect, with everything one might need. It is tastefully decorated and cosy.
The location is perfect, just up the lane from The Tavern an excellent gastro-pub and very close to Croak Patrick
The lock box would not open.... we called Jayne who was very helpful and gave us the directions to a second key.
It should not be in the section 'What didn't you like' as the problem was quickly resolved.... but we were very glad it was not dark when we arrived.....

Great location for exploring the area and stunning views of the mountain at the back door.
Not having clean drinking water made things a little tricky with a child . Also wasn't very clean when we arrived and sheets on the beds were still wet. Place just needs a deep clean.

Lovely location, great to go with the bikes.
water could not be drank as it’s not treated.
tiny living room, had to fold and unfold table and chairs every time we need to eat.

Absolutely fabulous cottage ..so warm and cozy ..everything supplied.lovely big comfortable sofa and beautiful kitchen , sitting room has stove fire ..cottage spotless clean ...its only a few steps away from restaurant and minutes walk to Croagh Patrick ..westport town only few minutes drive ..so relaxing here the birds singing and sound of the stream running.. its location is ideal ..highly recommend staying here 10 out of 10 from us all ..we sure will come back

Everything about the house was great. Has everything you need it's just like been home. Very cosy and welcoming. We have 2 small kids and they enjoyed there stay with lots of room to run around outside and only a short distance to the beaches

Internal - Stove fire, decor, traditional feel, homely vibe, comfort & warmth.
External - Scenic views, proximity to a fantastic restaurant bar and Croagh Patrick starting point close to property.
The Water - boil water notice in the area. All thou it is due to be addressed.

House was very nice. Location was perfect. The Tavern next door was excellent for food and beverages.
The single beds were uncomfortable. They appear to be bunk beds taken apart. The mattresses on the single beds were worn and springy. I would recommend two new single beds and two good mattresses. The least you would expect for the prices we paid!

The property is ideally situated within walking distance of a lovely pub/ restaurant and near clean sandy beaches with excellent walks both around the area or up Croagh Patrick.
Everything in the cottage is as described. It is clean, comfortable and cosy.
We had a very enjoyable stay added to with good weather.

Such a beautiful, tidy and cosy cottage. Highly recommend!!
Explanation on how to heat the water, it was trial and error between the heating and the stove. Check in time is quiet late. Would be nicer for that to be earlier especially as check out time is 11am :)

Location was wonderful. House had EVERYTHING we needed and with Croagh Patrick behind it and The Tavern below it it couldn’t be more perfect.
