Fantastic people Who run the place. Wayan, a lovely woman makes beautifull food and and is always helpfull if you need something. Her friendl Agus is the best. Hé helpend us out with wathever we needed. Taxi.'s togetAap us and taken back tothe ferry, scooters at a great price, and hé even took me to agood diveshop in the evening, so we could dive with the manta' 's the next Day. Top guy!

the staff were very friendly and the hospitality was amazing! my room got cleaned every day. they also can speak English very good. they gave me a lot of advices where to go for sightseeing. The food was great aswell.

they don’t change the bed sheets mine got pee on it so I have to call to change it but the bed still smell bad, the other guy charge 200k per person for the ticket to Sanur (in the pier is 150k per person) I pay for two so I tough I pay 50k more per person because he’s taking me there but when I arrive to the pier he charge me 150k more for the taxi, why I pay more for the boat ticket if I just have to book a taxi and pay the ticket on the pier.

the room and bathroom could have been cleaner, the outdoor bathroom wasn’t very nice. The shower was more like a drizzle. The staff were not around, apart from when they tried to push trips and taxis on you. Very noisy due to lots of chickens in surrounding area. also did not feel the safest.

+ such a comfy bed + Gdeh who was one of the staff members was an absolute angle, he was helpful, friendly and always smiling. Whatever he earns, he needs a raise.

I don't get the good reviews tbh. I did not really enjoy my stay here because of the following aspects: - the cleanliness in the bathroom. The sink wasn't cleaned from the people before me and also during my stay it was not cleaned. The whole bathroom was dirty also there was no soap right next to the sink so I had to get my own - the bathroom is open so it rains into it which is probably also why the bathroom is not clean - my room wasn't cleaned for 1 day. Not sure if they forgot or deliberately did that - I got woken up 2 times because one of the staff members were constantly knocking on my door to ask me somerhing. At 7:30 am! As people mentioned before there is a ceremony held everyday for 2 hours (around 19:30pm - 21:30pm) which is right next to the place and really loud.

We had made the reservation because as per the map of booking the accommodation appeared close to the harbours, so that we could walk. When we were there the accommodation was 2.5 km away from the location shown in booking. This should be changed or known before making the reservation or checked against Google maps.

Brilliant stay in Sambu, Agus the owner and his sister are very friendly, welcoming, helpful and Agus takes care of all your requests. The homestay is very well maintained and the cleaning is done every day, well equipped and very good breakfast to choose from at the time you want to be served. Great location, nice little garden with good vibe. I highly recommend Sambu unbeatable value for money. Thank you and see you soon we hope✌

The room was good, beds were comfortable and the staff was quiet helpful.

An lovely and spacious room that was cleaned daily! Also, an excellent breakfast was provided with a range of options. A quiet area close to some good restaurants. The staff were great, helping us to rent scooters and organise taxis. Overall, amazing value for money, probably the best hostel we’ve stayed in during our time in Bali!

bathroom had an opening in the roof so you could hear outside noise, which disrupted my sleep, staff didn’t speak any English

Owners were incredibly friendly and helpful- they couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful spacious room with outdoor bathroom which we liked. Spotlessly clean. The owner helped us rent a scooter for a great price, he also gave us lots of recommendations for food and activities and directed us to the laundry place across the road. Breakfast was also lovely, we had the pancakes every day :)

Definitely need to rent a scooter to get around!
