The condo is very clean, well maintained and decorated. The owner is very responsive and communicated with us on our stay. The location in Gulf Shores is very close to the main intersection of town. We would stay here again.

This condo is amazing and just as advertised. This was my first time using VRBO and I was a little nervous, but Karen made the process super easy. Condo was steps from the beach and had a great view. It was wonderful being able to listen to the ocean at night. Cannot think of a single thing which was missing.

This property was ideal for my husband and I. We enjoyed the location ( right on the beach) and its closeness to restaurants and grocery stores. We particularly enjoyed the spaciousness and layout of the condo. We could have easily fit 3 more people comfortably.

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to have a great vacation, especially the amazing view and the large balcony. It was a nice touch to have starter necessities on hand like toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags and more. The parking space is tight but no one parked next to us the whole time so it was fine. You can also park outside. The owner was very helpful and responsive. Our only minor complaint was that the indoor pool was relatively small and usually crowded but that was because it was too windy by the outdoor pool and it wasn’t heated. In summer this wouldn’t be an issue. Plus we prefer the beach anyway. Great place, overall!

This condo was perfection. The view of the beach was our favorite spot. We were here for a baseball tournament and it was in the perfect location to the ball parks and everything else that we got to enjoy as well.

Perfect fall getaway for our family. The beach was great fun for our 4 year old grandson. We also made good use of the pools and hot tub. The condo itself was well equipped and everything worked as expected. We had a great vacation. None of us wanted to leave.

We make a trip to Gulf Shores every September, and always stay at Crystal Shores West. This was our first time booking one of Karen's places, and I'm glad we did. Karen was great to work with, always kept us updated, was very fast to reply to any messages, and even got us in to our condo 2-3 hours early on our first day!
The condo was very nice, had all the things we needed. We have two teenage boys, so they definitely appreciated having their own beds in their room. Everything in the condo was in good working order.
I will without a doubt look to book a condo with Karen again when we plan our next trip.

Condo is listed as first floor, which is absolutely true. However, it is above multiple levels of a car garage. As someone that avoids elevators and will only stay in lower level rooms, this is misleading. Even on the first floor, you must walk up five flights of stairs to get to your room. I will admit, this is my error because it is stated on the listing. However, I didn’t realize how many levels the car garage would be and that I would have to walk up and down five flights of stairs each time I wanted to go to the beach. A positive - exercise on vacation?

This was my families first trip to the area and it will certainly not be the last. Condo was perfect for what we needed and loved being right on the beach. Only negative was the parking space for the condo was right next to a column making it difficult to get in and out on the passenger side but this was a minor inconvenience when compared to all the positives. Karen was a great host- sent information far in advance and responded quickly to questions and concerns.

The cleaning crew left like a film of spray everywhere, blinds in living room screws stripped out, there was also a dead crab and shells of shell fish on balcony, bed wasn’t comfortable, outdated look more then pictures

This was our first time to Gulf Shores and it won’t be our last! The condo is absolutely amazing and the morning and evening views from the balcony are simply breathtaking. Karen was very attentive and provided us with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Gulf Shores. You will not be disappointed.

We were happy with all aspects. It was clean. The pictures are exactly what it was. Beach access was great. Only issue was that the elevator was inconsistent and broke a few times, but we easily used the stairs mostly. We would book here again definitely.

The views are gorgeous and the balcony provides the perfect space to enjoy it all! The condo was fresh and clean, a very lovely space to stay. Access to the beach and our car to store and get beach goodies everyday was perfect!
Beyond all this, incredibly noteable is the communication from and with the host, Karen. She was spectacular--sent info much further in advance than any other person we've rented from, was incredibly responsive, and truly kind! I highly recommend this property and working with Karen!

Clean condo, beach, and pool. The condo was the perfect fit for our young family of 4. We’ve stayed in gulf shores several times and this was by far our favorite condo. We will book again.

The property was exactly as pictured! Communication was excellent and overall we had a great vacation. The only issue (minor in the big picture) were the elevators. There are only 2 and during busy times (check in time specifically) we had to wait 10+ minutes for an open elevator!

Condo was clean and looked exactly like pictures listed. The host, Karen, was very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed- which we did. The balcony and view were the best part. The main bedroom opens up to the balcony and was so peaceful out there in the mornings and evenings. There are several restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance and everything else (go carts, golf, movies, etc) were about a 15 minute drive. Great quiet location for a family vacation. Just far enough away from the “loud touristy” part of town but close enough to walk to the excitement if that’s what you’re wanting. We did walk down to The Hangout one night. The only complaint- if you could even call it that- is that the reserved parking spot for the unit is quite snug. A large SUV or Truck may not fit. However the lower parking area would accommodate any of those things. Also, if you stay for more than a few days, you will have to wash towels during your stay, but everything you need for that is in the condo. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and if we come back to gulf shores area this will be a first pick of places to stay.

We had a great time at Gulf Shores. The condo was very nice and fully stocked with whatever you need. The owner was very receptive, helpful and easy to contact. We had rain a couple of days so the workout room was a great option. We would stay there agian.

My daughter turned thirteen and wanted to visit the beach for her birthday and we made it a birthday / vacation. The condo was just as the pictures online beautifully decorated, new appliances and great beach view on the balcony and only a two minute walk to the beach. The condo was very clean and the owner was super nice and always available from reservations down to what to do and responded promptly to my texts.
I will be visiting Crystal Shores West soon staying at Karen & Scott’s Condo.

This property was beautiful located right on the beach. We were able to sit on the private balcony and watch the dolphins play in the ocean each morning. The condo was so clean and well maintained. There were plenty of dishes and utensils that made cooking and living so easy. The beds were so comfortable and sleeping with the waves was so peaceful. The condo manager, Karen, was more than friendly and so very accommodating. She was easy to get in contact with and provided some great suggestions on local eats and activities. All in all, it was a fantastic trip and we cannot wait to go back!!

It was right on the water, the balcony is huge with plenty of room for the four of us to spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need. The condo is very spacious and the owner, Karen, is very easy to work with. She was so helpful with places nearby to visit and her own reviews on certain restaurants. I will definitely be back and stay here again.

we enjoyed this trip and the condo more than any other trip we have taken. The beach has a relaxing atmosphere and the pool helped teach our 1 year old how to swim. The condo is spacious and very clean, it is supplied with everything including beach toys and beach chairs. It was the perfect place to escape life and be able to breath while also enjoying your time with shopping and dining.
