Diese Hütte liegt nur wenige Schritte von unserem privaten Strand am Colby See entfernt und hat eine eigene Feuerstelle. Mieter können eines unserer sechs Boote nutzen: ein Ruderboot, 2 große Kajaks und Kanus sowie ein Kinder-Kajak. Der Lake Colby ist bekannt für sein hervorragendes Angeln. Lake Colby ist Teil der größeren Saranac Lake Community, die viele touristische Attraktionen bietet, darunter Wandern, Skifahren, Seilbahnen, Golf und tolles Essen. Diese Kabine ist auch nur zwei Gehminuten vom öffentlichen Strand und dem Bootsanleger entfernt.
Die Hütte ist eine 5-minütige Fahrt vom Mt. Pisgah entfernt, wo Freunde und Familie Skifahren und Snowboarden können.

Das Dorf Saranac Lake bietet wunderbare Restaurants, Pubs und Cafés. Colby Cabins ist etwa 1,5 km vom Berg entfernt. Pisgah, wo die ganze Familie Skifahren, Tubing und Snowboarden kann. Der Saranac Lake ist von einigen der schönsten Wanderwege an der Ostküste umgeben. Der Lake Colby ist bekannt für sein hervorragendes Angeln von: Regenbogen- und Bachforelle, Lachs, Forellenbarsch und Schwarzbarsch. Auf diesem See können maximal 10 PS Motoren eingesetzt werden.

Absolutely loved the cabin, very cozy and welcoming. In an amazing location close to town yet feels secluded. Definitely will be revisiting!!

This is a beautiful lakeside (lake Colby) cabin. Even though the temperatures were below zero the cabin stayed toasty warm. We loved visiting the ice castle and carnival events in Saranac Lake ,5 minutes drive. Also fantastic restaurants in Saranac. Drove over to Lake Placid ,25 min and snowshoed at Heaven Hills with the dog. Our favorite was xc skiing at the VIC at Paul Smiths. This cabin was a perfect location to easily visit all the winter fun in the area. It was so clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the bed comfortable. We loved it! Thanks we hope to come back in the summer or fall.

Compact, well equipped, cozy cabin situated very close to Saranac Lake. Great communication with the host prior and during the stay. Only a few things to be aware of - cabin is not on the water (which is disclosed in the description) but what is not explained is you have to walk through other guests' property to access the dock and the available water craft. Felt like an intrusion. Also, the photos of the sun streaming through the windows are a mystery. The cabin is completely surrounded by trees - we had to put lights on during the day. But otherwise, this is a lovely place.

Beautiful little cabin
Very cozy, very cute. This cabin has a screened-in porch, which was very nice, but the downside is it doesn't have a seating area directly by the water (which the other three cabins at this address do). No matter, we had a wonderful time and it was an absolutely beautiful site.

Lake Colby, Fish Cabin
Hoda was a great host. Easy to communicate with before, during and after our stay. The cabin was clean and felt welcoming. Fish cabin was an idyllic Adirondack get-a-way.

This is a nice place! It is a bit old and a a bit short, has its own quirks. The place is wonderful though, close to the water and quick to town. It got very cold while we were there (-20 F) and the heater was mostly able to keep up. It was very clean and well taken care of. Stay here if you’re looking for fun

Simple and Clean
If you're looking for a nice, clean, simple cabin to base your activities you've found it. No lake view but easy to walk to the dock or beach to sit and enjoy the view.

Nice cabin
Nice place. Could have been a little cleaner. Wood chips in the porch upon arrival and gave us only a few pieces of wood when the other cabins got a bundle and we where ther for 4 nights

We liked our stay very much. Everything worked very well, the cabin was super clean and well
stocked. We were able to use the kayaks no problem and the swimming beach is very close. The street that it’s on is quiet and we all slept great at night. My only feedback would be that the photo for Fish Cabin showed a very beautifully lit and sunny space. Fish Cabin is extremely dark, gets no direct sunlight. We had the lights on every day inside. But other than that it was a really pleasant lovely stay.

We stayed two nights at Fish cabin, which is well maintained, comfortable and decorated just like the photos. It was super neat and clean with lovely Adirondack furniture.
We realized when we pulled in that we had stayed at the Moose cabin 15+ years ago when our children were small. It too is an absolutely beautiful cabin.
We plan to come back with extended family.
We highly recommend staying at these cabins if you are in the Saranac Lake area. Huda is a very responsive and accommodating host.

This was a perfect escape for us. We came to hike some of the 46 high peaks & the location was perfect! Colby lake is a perfect spot, the cabin was cozy & clean & perfect for us . We’d love to come back

Cabin is clean, functional and very cozy. Loved the cozy and Adirondack feel coming inside after spending the day outside in the snow. Loved the gas fireplace.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway!
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderfully quiet and relaxing weekend at the cabin. Communication with the owner was simply flawless. Cabin was clean, well-appointed and in a great location. Easy drive to Lake Placid and eateries. Very toasty even during frigid nights and the shower and hot water are fantastic! Thank you!

Wonderful N Country vacation
We loved the camp and celebrating my husbands birthday and our 15th wedding anniversary in Lake Saranac. Lovely view of the lake, comfy rustic accommodations. Owner had excellent communication as we drove by the driveway initially. Thank you and would stay again.

My only suggestion is having adult sized life vests - my cabin had 4 cild size and I adult but aside from that I'm looking forward to going back.

Excellent Getaway -
This property was Ideal for my son and I to spend some time together and fish! Fish Cabin provided absolutely every amenity and grateful the owners thought enough about their guests to include. We used the kayaks everyday and every night. From the appointments in the cabin to the firepits, kayacks, canoes and paddleboats, this was perfect for us. We thoroughly enjoyed Saranac Lake too!

Clean and well equipped. We totally enjoyed our stay. The only complaint was the mattress was too soft and uncomfortable for us. Otherwise excellent!

Relaxing get away cabin
Newly renovated, Immaculate cabin located on Colby Lake within close proximity to Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, and many wonderful hiking trails. Our family of 5 ( ages 9, 9, and 4) fit comfortably in the cabin. This cabin is not located directly on the water but is only steps away. We enjoyed utilizing the dock, the row boats, and the kayaks. Having a screened in porch was a bonus, especially on a few rainy days! There is a private fire pit with Adirondack chairs and a picnic table.
The owner communicates with guests within minutes. She answered multiple questions prior to our arrival so that we could plan accordingly.
Highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing vacation!
