The location was great

I honestly do not leave bad reviews but this one needs to be said. This is quite honestly the worst place we’ve ever stayed and we do travel a lot! I wish I had of read the hosts passive aggressive responses to other guests reviews as this shows their true colours. If you can still cancel do it!! A few days before our arrival I noticed we had not yet received check in instructions so asked if they could send asap as we were driving from Venice so knew reception wouldn’t be great. The day of arrival still nothing. 2pm still nothing so followed up. Apparently this was sent to a random email address I’ve never seen even though we had previously been communicating through booking.con messenger. From this point I knew we were going to have issues as all members of staff I dealt with were extremely rude and unhelpful. Full of aggression and rather than answering questions I was asked to ‘look at other messages’ which did not have my answer and would also have been quicker and easier to just answer my question. I was then told to contact another member of staff upon arrival which I did via WhatsApp. I advised him we were driving from Venice (7 hour drive with a 1 year old) so would love to gain access straight away. I was told to let him know when we had parked which was a 3 minute walk from the apartment. Once parked I received a message advising he would be 10 minutes!! I would have messaged 10 minutes ago if I knew this. Turns out we were waiting longer than 10 minutes. When the staff arrived the only word he said was ‘hi’ nothing else. He showed my partner up the stairs and gave us the keys he didn’t even take up to the room or show us the wifi just couldn’t wait to get out of there!! Also no help with any luggage ect all the other places we have stayed the hosts have been so helpful and take a bag or something up with them to help - nothing from this guy!

Multiple sets of stairs to reach the property and not lift. Was okay for us but not suitable for accessibility

Bed was a bit uncomfortable, dipped in the middle. But otherwise great place.

It is very noisy at night till 3:00 am and it was hard to sleep. Plus, the wifi was most of time out of service. The owner asked me to use WhatsApp but with wifi not working, I had to go out to use other wifi to contact the owner.

Calm and beautiful retreat in the middle of chaotic city.
