I paid online and the front desk tried to double charge me. I need to show him my uk bank statement wich is not comfortable for a customer when he already paid online.

Close to the main road. Not hard to find. Good price.

No lightbulbs in nightstand. No wifi whatsoever (only in the hall - and only somewhere and not always). Rooms were a bit dirty but not much.

The pictures on booking lie. The hotel is not that good as pictures and it's far away from the city center. I don't recommend it. The room was not that clean and you can hear noise from other rooms.

Plenty of things. 1st of all not one of the staff speaks English! And they pretend that you understand Bulgarian. Directions to the hotel are not accurate and on our first day we coult not find the hotel. I called the contact number available and a lady replied. I explained to her that directions to hotel were incorrect. She replied: 'No English!' And just hung up. We found this really rude. On our 2nd morning at the hotel, we were met by 3 bulgarians at the property. They told us to wait at the reception and obviously we could not understand a word they were saying. Upon using google translate from our end, we realised that they were telling us that we had to pay for our stay. We told them that we already did pay on booking.com. Around 20minutes later they let us leave with just ok ok paid. On our last night, we hear a knock on our day around midnight! They knocked 3 times. We got dressed and went down to reception and were met by a bulgarian lady. She said you pay pay. We told her it is the middle of the night, why did you come knocking. I showed her that we had already paid and she replied with ok after giving her the confirmation number. Also we paid and booked for a room with balcony and were not given what we paid for. We were glad once this stay was over!!
