A Stunning House with its Sanctuary Garden
The beauty and tranquility of both the stunning garden and house made for the perfect retreat. It was a relaxing break for my teens too, with its spacious rooms. A gem of a place with plenty to do locally - we would definitely choose to stay at Pringles Orchard again. I appreciated the garden, the conservatory and log fire.

Exceptional
A lovely house with everything you could need. The property was spotlessly clean and the hosts very helpful and friendly. The garden is massive and stunning and you have the freedom to wander round it all. Would highly recommend this property

fabulous and phenomenal :)
very spacious lovely house with plenty of character, garden is exceptional and this booking was s by far the best we’ve experienced so far. rooms well spacious, clean and plenty of extras for a very comfortable Easter family holiday. children loved the house and gardens, the wildlife, the ducks and we even got to see a beautiful double rainbow perfectly aligned with the garden on our last evening :) holiday home is situated within access of the fabulous Peak District for family outdoor exploring, Sheffield for the city experience and other places of interests.

Great stay, value for money, clean, very friendly hosts, convenient location, fully equipped.
The Owners, Will and Liz who lived next door were very friendly and helpful always, even driving us to town during the stay. Its a nice place to relax and enjoy with family and friends. Love the garden and the trees around. The bus stops are just outside when you step out of the house and very convenient. The property has all facilities, to cook to wash, to iron and others. We will definitely visit again.
There is nothing we didn't like as it is one of the best properties we've stayed so far.

Incredible house
Fantastic property, well sized inside with plenty of space, nice decoration,full of charm and history. Garden is huge and landscaped, with a pond a small river, once you will be there you want to stay forever. Extremely quiet. Huge safe parking off street near house and garden. Wifi ok for working. Caring owner!
Nothing , the cottage merits more than the maximal rating. We have tried hundreds of cottages in whole UK this one is the best!

Perfect spot to stay, the gardens are beautiful and the host is exactly what you’d like.
The standout feature is the gardens, beautiful and peaceful. The house is well kept and clean with all the various bits and pieces needed for a comfortable stay.

Gorgeous gardens, beautiful house, very much recommended
The property is set in a beautiful orchard/ wild flower meadow. It’s way more beautiful than shown in pictures. The house itself is well maintained and spotless. It still has the traditional touch well balanced with the modern comforts. The hosts live next to the property which makes it easier to contact them if needed. This place is very much recommended for a stay away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Location wise it’s very convenient for the Sherwood park as well as peak district towns and villages.

Fuming with anger and disgust!
I wish I could give this property a good rating, but after my experience with booking.com and Sykes cottages I cannot.
This property was advertised at a price including 20% VAT on the total amount payable. I booked this property based on this fact that I can claim back 20% VAT as it will then be bang on budget. Once I booked the property, both booking.com, Sykes cottages and the owner refused to supply me with a VAT receipt relating to the full amount taken from my account for this property even though my payment breakdown clearly stated that the full amount paid contained 20% VAT at £420.50. After several hours on the phone to all parties involved, I could still not get this legal document I required to present to my company. I then requested to cancel my booking as the information they provided me was incorrect. Sykes cottages refused to refund me and told me that I will lose my full £2500 paid. Shocking!!!! Booking.com was totally unwilling to help or refund me the £420 VAT they took from my account. My anger and frustration with this situation caused me a lot of anxiety. To this day, I still not had a VAT receipt relating to the full amount charged and I am now £420.50 out of pocket. I am sad, disappointed, but above all, angry that these people are getting away with fraudulent activity. Be very careful booking with Sykes cottages as they do not deal with customer problems in an effective or LEGAL way. I'll also be directing my accommodation booking to another supplier like hotels.com.
