It was my second time staying at the Cape Milner, and the hotel more than exceeded the great experience I had with them 10 years ago. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, the location is great, and rooms are cozy - some with a great view of Table Mountain.

I had booked this hotel 8 times before, it was always great. Check-in, the lady with the name "Nozipo" was hanging on the counter, then very unfriendly, and it looked like she hated white people,.... her treatment had a racist feeling. Further, I booked one double bed, she gives us 2 single beds. There was no sanitizer in the room, normally there is. The complimentary bottle of water was 100% filled with tap water. their tap water has a specific taste. One LED light above the bed stayed on, had to remove the bulb. All was a bad impression of the normal so good run hotel. We NEVER will come back, as racism against anyone is WRONG
