The Infinity pool and sea view is amazing.

Prices for beverages are on the high end.

Breakfast and location good. Wi-Fi is often interrupted because of power cuts.

The room £400.00 per night was small and quite basic. The shower flooded and was very basic, just a hand held shower and no bath. The service but very good particularly from the MNager.

Johan looked after us beautifully and there was nothing in this delightful boutique hotel that was not considered for the discerning guest!!

I am afraid too many power cuts without a generator on hand would refrain us from booking this lovely little boutique hotel again.

Amazing view, friendly team covers all your needs (that you know and don’t know of), convenient “self-service” bar - inviting to stay and relax at the pool. Superb breakfast.

Cottage - yes you may hear a bit the street, but then: it’s separate from the other rooms, which is nice. Sometimes the rooms wifi connection was a bit tricky. We didn’t find the plug for hair-dryer in bathroom.

Everything from the front of house staff, to the kitchen staff, to the owner. I fell so deeply in love with this spot. My heart felt broken when I had to go back to joburg. As a recently retired VIP flight attendant, this was so up my alley when it came to the hospitality. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven with us.

Our time was too short!!

Absolutely loved my stay here, first time in a guest house as opposed to a hotel. I prefer it now as it’s more intimate and personal. The service is really good- Petra, Johan and Jake always made sure I was well taken care of! My favourite part I would have to say was the warm inviting kitchen, the variety of the quality spreads throughout the day, whether it was breakfast with every single jam you can think of, tea bar or delicious canapés in the early evening.. The bedroom was very comfortable, and the Asian contemporary art around the whole property was beautiful. Not to forget the breathtaking view of the ocean from all the bedrooms on the floor by the pool! Last but not least, part of the family there is lovely Steffi, the senior rescue dog that the hotel has taken in. She comes to slowly greet all guests, and sometimes will sunbathe next to you during the day.

Maybe not the property’s fault but when Cape Town is going through city-wide outages, the kitchen cannot provide hot food as there is no back up generator. This didn’t affect my experience but it might for others. (There was one slightly hangry guest when an outage took place during breakfast time). There is no spa, however I did hear there is a plan for a spa next year.

Service and breakfast was great. Decent coffee at breakfast too.

amazing selection, bake beans home made an exceptional. tea and coffee top quality, in fact changed my tea brand as so impressed

A beautiful place, good location and extremely friendly staff.

The only downside was probably the stunning pool was too cold to really enjoy.
