Wundervolles Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal! Es gab einen Pool zur allgemeinen Nutzung. Frühstück wurde für alle zubereitet und war sowohl lecker, als auch ausreichend.
Einzig ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer hat uns gefehlt.
Der Pool war nicht so super schön hergerichtet, aber definitiv ausreichend!

Schönes ruhiges Zimmer, sehr sauber. Außerordentlich freundliches Personal, schöner Pool, der aber etwas sauberer sein dürfte. Ebenfalls schönes großes Badezimmer und generell guter Service im Hause.
Beim Frühstück ist noch Luft nach oben. Generell hat uns das System nichts so gut gefallen, dass man einen Timeslot bekommt für das Frühstück und im Urlaub nach Wecker aufstehen muss. Auf einer Liste kann man ankreuzen, was man am nächsten Tag essen möchte, auch hier ist noch Luft nach oben, z.B. werden kein Eier angeboten und nur abgepackte Marmelade sowie kein richtiges Müsli, sondern lediglich Cornflakes und süße Schokoflakes. Generell finden wir Buffet besser, auch wenn wir verstehen, dass man so wenig wie möglich wegwerfen möchte und die Lebensmittel so frisch wie möglich servieren möchte.

Amazing level of hospitality. The owner is a very nice guy, who gave us a few tips, where to dine around Obidos. The place has a nice swimming pool area. The check-out is until 12 and the breakfast was amazing, full of variety. It is a bit out from Obidos town, but nothing unreachable by car. For us, a great location to avoid busy touristic centre of Obidos.

Close to Obidos but far enough outside to be calm. The family-owned and run hotel felt like a welcoming home. The staff were all caring; Deanna on the front desk was exceptional.

I would have given a higher ranking to this hotel except for one big problem. The place itself was OK, even with a nice swimming pool. The unit we had which was a whole apartment with kitchen was well equipped. The staff were very attentive and polite.
Breakfast was served in the room and was very good although it would have been nice to also have eggs on the menu.
What spoiled everything was the musty smell of the apartment. We found that the walls were peeling in a number of places where mould had set in and this was causing the smell. Almost every wall, including next to the bed, had peeling mouldy walls.
When I complained they explained that the apartments had a moisture problem and they intended to repair this in the future. However, they did give me a reduction in the price (approx 25%). They also didn't charge me for port wine I had drunk.
It's a great shame about this as otherwise they would have got a much higher mark.
They told me that the regular rooms in the main building didn't have this problem

The hotel property is charming, very clean and the rooms are well appointed. Bathrooms were very nice and the heating was good as well. Breakfast was good overall. We were asked to make a selection from a list the day before and it was laid out at the requested time. The selection included fruit, cheese, cold cuts, bread, coffee etc
The pillows were just too soft, almost flat, and offered very little support. A firmer pillow would be better.

If you have a car, the location is perfect. The recepionist was serving us great with useful informaion and friendlines.
The breakfast was different from what was expected. Given that we were on "rural tourism", we could get homemade jam and not small purchased packets.

The breakfast was really bad and so the price we paid was way too much. Completely not recommend this place due yo the breakfast. Bread was not fresh, scarce amounts of cheese, butter and other foods. No variety of breads / croissants. Very bad, which was a.pity because the place is really nice

We were given a pleasant welcome if somewhat unnecessarily lengthy. Overall however, there was nothing we could define as particularly likeable.
The location - just off a roundabout on a main road, facing a rather ugly set of farm buildings. The furnishings and ambience were dark, dingy, dated and outmoded. The bedroom was without any character and smelt musty, but was well-sized. The ‘bar’, as advertised on Booking.com, was not worthy of the name as it was just a dispense area off the lounge. Of more importance, it had very poor stock - no gin, no tonic, hardly any white wine… there was one bottle we might have tried but it was not chilled. ‘Very good’ breakfast (not vaguely as advertised) was sparse and functional; sweetened, processed orange juice, natural yoghurt with additives, a thin slice of processed cheese and presunto, and meagre portions of melon, all accompanied by lukewarm coffee. It was so poor we chose not to have it on day two.

Pool was good, we would've liked for it to have a bigger shallow section for the younger kids.

The road that leads to the place is a bit on the narrow side, and inside the compound the road that leads to the house could be better, it has potholes and is also very narrow.

Cute place with pool close to the historic centre. Really nice breakfast in the room (due to Corona).
The apartment was quite small and very dark unfortunately. The pool did not look clean and the filter was not running.
