Most staff tried hard to make our stay comfortable

It’s very tired & sadly still suffering the aftermath of Cyclone Yasi, with a lot of rust evident. The dining experience was a disaster, waiting far too long for service & 11/2 hours for our dinner.

Our room was on the 3rd floor and both the room and balcony looked straight out onto the beach. It was a wonderful location. It was so easy to go downstairs and walk across the lawn onto the beach. The beach was a long clean beach. Great for walking.

Great location, beautiful grounds, comfortable beds, excellent restaurant. House keeping staff were brilliant. Enjoyed a massage in the day spa.. Appreciated there being a lift, (due to back problems..)

I would've used the pool if it had not been so cold. Consider heating it thru the winter maybe. The down lights over some of the tables in the restaurant, we had to move tables because of it.....shining directly in our eyes, to the point of eyewatering. Please consider looking into this...pun intended! Overall a great stay apart from these 2 issues..

It was unfortunate that the pool was out of action and this wasn't mentioned on the website when I booked.

Beautiful location!

Rooms were quite dirty & outdated, cabinetry broken, furnishings old and tattered. Pretty poor value for money. Staff at reception were rude and uninterested. Bar staff incredible, location incredible BUKO restaurant was ridiculously expensive!!

- cockroaches (x3) - uncomfortable bed - dirty and sticky floor in room (I cleaned with a cloth and the cloth ended up black with filth) - very run down with rotten under shower bath, felt like you were going to fall through.

Excellent location on the beach. Great food and friendly service. Day bed on the balcony a pleasant place to relax. Good pool for laps as well as relaxation. Overall its great to see this quality in MIssion Beach

Our travel companions who had paid the same rate had a room over the restaurant with a restricted view although the room designation was the same.

amazing location by the beach front, I believe all the rooms are overlooking the ocean, very friendly and helpful staff, clean and large rooms. we enjoyed the pool in the early morning I wish we could have stay a couple more days

the bathroom was mouldy and ant ridden, and it had water damage. there was damage in the dining area also. not worth the price when there is that

the beach is beautiful the staff was great

the hotel has good bones but needs lots of TLC. The pool, the rooms all the facilities have seen better days and are in need of maintenance.

the resort was lovely and relaxing. room was great and food was delicious. pool clean and relaxing area.

some of the lunch time restaurant staff were not great. forgetful and seemed to not get on with each other. dinner and breakfast restaurant staff much better.

lots of ants in the room! facilities a little older than appears in the pictures but the location is incredible

Wonderful position - just a stroll through the gardens on to the beach. We arrived a little too late for a swim but the two pools looked inviting. Lovely room with a walk in shower. Air con was good and the sunrise wonderful from the beach and through the trees from our balcony.

Not a lot of room for parking, but it was busy and we did email ahead to say we're arriving late.
