Hotel Bernerhof is perfectly placed centrally in Grindelwald near to both the station and buses. There is also reasonably priced onsite hotel parking if you arrive by car. Our room, with completely private balcony, overlooked the mountains and was very quiet. It was much larger than anticipated with a good sized (family) bathroom. All the in-room/bathroom amenities you could wish for were provided by the hotel. This hotel was exceptionally clean. Lift straight from the entrance to all floors was very useful.
The choice of breakfast items on offer was vast (hot & cold) and the room itself was light and bright with amazing views across the private terrace to the mountains. Staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. Having stayed at other hotels previously in Grindelwald, this hotel is now our favourite choice. Also - free self-serve coffee in the residents lounge was a lovely surprise!

朝食はチーズやハムがたくさんあり良いのだが、スタッフの対応があまり気持ちよくない。親切ではない。
2024年9月訪問、ターミナル駅からグリーンデンバルトまでの電車が工事で止まっているので、バスに乗る必要がある。1時間に2本あっても30分なので歩きたかったら歩いたらいいが、バスを使った方が賢明グリンデルバルトからターミナルまでは歩いて降りてもいいかもしれない。

- 그린델발트 역 바로 앞인줄은 알았는데 직접 가보니 생각보다 더 가까워서 이동할 때 매우 편리했음

Proximity to the train station & room direction facing the alps. Town is just a short walking distance.
Cramped rooms in Europe ? Was a real surprise to us, being Asians. Wait till the usage of the bathroom. Breakfast spread is mediocre that comes with the rooms...

We love the balcony near the breakfast room with great view of the mountains and the streets. Location of the hotel is unbeatable, easy walk to train, shops or start of a hike. Breakfast serves early so we can start our outings early.

Everything at this hotel was perfect! The area, the food, the staff, the room. Anything we needed they brought to us! Tons of fun! Beautiful place!

Hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming! Great location and balcony had fantastic mountain views. Breakfast had a variety of food as well as attentive staff.
The only downside was the rooms and bathrooms were on the smaller side.

The room is big! The view from the living room/balcony is fantastic! And it is super near to the train station! The staffs are friendly and helpful too. Plus point, there were complimentary free flow coffee and teas till 9.30am!
The toilet just a little small else everything else is perfect!

A pain to pay and for no reason. cancelled my booking even though I sent messages asking why my card didn’t work but never got any response until I finally made a new booking and paid with another card. Why not answer??
Everyone who worked there seemed like started last week, which gives the impression they treat their staff very badly. Others complained about the breakfast but it was actually great, even with a selection of great local cheeses

The room was so, so lovely. The outdoor terrace was a magical place to sit with a coffee and take in the breathtaking view of the mountains. The breakfast was great and again, the view! The complimentary coffee and tea was really amazing because every restaurant in town is way, way overpriced and just not good.
When I asked for extra toiletries, I was given a long explanation as to why I didn't need them. When we pay that much for a hotel room, it is frustrating to be treated to a lecture about why I don't need toiletries which literally cost almost nothing.

Great place right at the main street but surprisingly quiet during the night. Our room had balcony with Eiger view. Breakfast is very good, there is ski storage. Guy at the reception was very friendly and helpful. There is private parking but on the other side of the street. Possible to park in front to unload the bags but a lot of complaints in-between.
