Very welcoming and accomodating on arrival.Helped us organise an excellent Taxi tour of the island. We could only stay one night so this gave us a wonderful overview of this beautiful island, and definitely a desire to come back and spend more time. Breakfast was very good - both the quality and choice of food and the service.

The mattress wasn't bad, but could have been more comfortable.

The location of this hotel is great. Very close to the port and tons of shops and restaurants. The staff here are amazing and are so helpful. We got the dinner included during our stay as well and they had tons of options available for both breakfast and dinner. The room is pretty basic but has everything you'd need and very clean. Would recommend staying here!

Everything was perfect, we had a wonderful room with direct access to the roof top, swimming pool and bar. Front office was very helpful and nice. Room was clean, bed comfortable and breakfast wonderful. Love this hotel and the perfect location.

The outside pool area need a bit of up keep and the towels were almost threadbare.

This was the highlight of our 2 week honeymoon in Italy. It was our first time visiting Ischia and we absolutely loved the island, and are already planning our next trip! The location of the hotel couldn't be better, we loved watching the yachts from our balcony and the bar, and it was ideal for arriving by ferry and getting the bus to other parts of the island. The staff went above and beyond, we were instantly welcomed and they couldn't do enough for you. From the receptionists, to the cleaners and all of the bar staff and waiters, they couldn't do enough for you. The views from the roof terraces were great, our room and balcony were beautiful, and the breakfast had everything we wanted. The most amazing selection of croissants ever! And the Thermal Bath was AMAZING! Couldn't recommend this place enough, and we can't wait to come back.

The pool on the roof was smaller than it looked in pictures, but was a nice way to cool down after soaking in the sun. The beaches are so beautiful there that we didn't spend much time up there anyway!

The location right at the port was super convenient. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us make reservations and plan trips/transportation for our 4 day trip. The rooftop pool is heated with an amazing view, and you can order food/drinks from there. You can also use the thermal pool in the spa on the 2nd floor. The wifi was very quick in all areas, including the room and pool. You can eat your breakfast inside or outside, waiters will bring you coffee and there is an extensive buffet. Amazing stay overall!

Terrific spa facilities. I very much enjoyed my massage and my partner’s nails look great. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times.

The location was fantastic - close to the ferry port, bus station, bars and restaurants and great for walking to local sights. Breakfast was very good - plenty of choice. The staff were wonderful - very pleasant and helpful. Sadly we didn't have time to enjoy the sun terrace and pool or the spa treatments the hotel had to offer.

The only downside was that the hotel decor is a little dated and feels like it needs a refresh. The plastic cover on the headboard of the bed wasn't very nice. Aside from that it felt like good value for money.

The room was specious and clean, very warm, windows have good sound and wind protection. Pleasant cosmetics, many towels, pretty good equipped. I needed to checkout early, so I didn't have breakfast and SPA.

I couldn't find English speaking TV channels.

Great location just along from the main port. Great afternoon spent on the roof top pool in the sun and enjoyed using the thermal pool. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good

The hotel staff (breakfast staff, reception as well as cleaning) were all very nice and helping!

Everything comes down to what you expect and my view is that the facilities were not 4 stars at all! The breakfast were 3 stars quality while the rooms (except size of them and cleaning) did not reach more than 2 stars. Why? The rooms had likely not been redone since early 90s. Fixtures in the bathroom were so worn down with rust and had not been descaled for the past decade I presume. Light bulbs were showing and repairs had been badly done with just silicone. The door frame were so worn down due to water damage that they had changed color and were rotten. In addition, you felt the springs in the bed and the bed had an oddly slope so you felt like you were to end up on the floor when waking up. The only things mounted to the walls were a mirror and a tv. They were mounted to close so the tv was actually covering part of the mirror. The cords were hanging everywhere and the mirror was not even straight. All furnitures were in style probably somewhere around my childhood and that was a couple of decades ago. For a 4 star standard, I also expect better quality of towels and linen.

- Carmen and every single of her colleagues were all extremely friendly, attentive, helpful, caring and forthcoming. - The location is excellent and walking distance to the restaurants, shopping centre, port, etc - Fantastic view of the port and the hills - Loved the authentic and original style, colours and decoration of the hotel and rooms - Room was super clean, comfortable bed with all the facilities we needed. - Nice mini bar We will definitely stay at Aragona again at our next visit to Ischia. Great to see how passionate Carmen is about her role and is sincerely looking after the guests in the best possible way. Thank you for everything :-)

Everything was absolutely perfect

The location is great for this hotel, right in the harbour. The staff is very nice at the reception and the restaurant. The pool on top of the hotel was also lovely. They were also cleaning the room everyday.

- The internet was appalling. The signal was full, but the speed was simply frustrating. I had to work and it was impossible, it took forever to upload anything. - The breakfast was very poor, 80% of it was sweets and pastries. If you're a diabetic, pass! You can't eat much. There were some boiled eggs and on some days omelette, and a very poor choice of cheese and meat, but that is about it. Zero vegetables. - When I arrived in my room there was hair in the bathroom from the previous guest. - I paid 1071 Euro for 5 nights. I don't feel like it was worth the money. The hotel is tired, furniture is old, there were stains on the wall of the room, bathroom was outdated.

The location was perfect. We could walk everywhere. The breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great recommendations.

Beds were a bit hard and there was a bit of noise outside our window in the evening. However, that is the price you have to pay for such a great location. We also forgot to turn down the air-condition and it got really cold in the night with only a thin sheet. That was our fault though ;)

Clean hotel with big rooms. Nice view from the pool, great location Hotel staff was really nice, trying to help and providing missing things from morning buffet.

Internet/wifi connection is horrible, like non existing Savory breakfast buffet was basically only ham, cheese and salami. Could be improved. However we asked for additional things (omelette or fresh tomatoes) and we got them.
