Considering the size of the hotel, the pool area was very small and disappointing as was the gym and the spa.

ALL the staff was exceptional, from the housekeeping staff, waiting staff, concierge to reception. We stayed in a Red Level room on the 7th floor and it was fabulous with a beautiful view of the Cathedral. Loved the inclusion of organic tea and coffee and complimentary water and chocolates. The hotel was charming and it’s location perfect for us. Breakfast was outstanding as was the service. It was great to see that the bread was made with organic flour. Access to the refreshments in the Red Level lounge was always very welcome after a day walking the length and breadth of Seville. We didn’t get a chance to dine at any of the restaurants on this occasion, but have no doubt that they would be of a very high standard.

1. There were no English streaming, entertainment or movie channels available which was exceptionally disappointing for a hotel of this calibre. We lost the only two news channels, the BBC and the English version of France 24 for almost three days which we found very unusual. We also noticed that even the English speaking movies and shows on offer that were dubbed in Spanish were not only as old as the hills but were all subtitled in Spanish as well, which we found very odd. You need to update your technology to meet modern demands! 2. Not sure if the shower drains were blocked or simply not large enough to cope with the flow of water but the bathtub kept filling up with water to your ankles as you were having a shower. 3. There should have been more vegetarian options in the Red Level lounge as well as a better standard of sweets. Apart from a wonderful chocolate cake and yummy small cupcakes (when you were lucky enough to get them) the other options were well below par. That also applied to some of the pastry options at breakfast, especially those ‘donut’ looking pastries.

Great location in the city center. Amazing service, all the staff was very attentive and quick to help with everything. The room and terrace were very nice.

Once when ordering room service for breakfast, one of the avocado toasts was not well done, the bread was too soggy, like they prepared it too early or the bread was not well toasted. For the price of the meal and hotel category I expected better room service food. The jacuzzi in the terrace was somewhat dated, maybe our room hadn’t been renovated yet (there were renovations going on in other rooms in our floor).

Der Komfort lässt nicht zu wünschen übrig. Der übliche elegante wenngleich auch unpersönliche Eindruck eines internationalen, gehobenen Hauses. Personal bemüht, betont freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man könnte auch sagen gut geschult im Sinne des Zeitgeists („…how was your day today?“)

Frühstück eine Katastrophe. Sonderbar organisiert (mehrere „Klassen“), Qualität der Produkte sehr schlecht, eine absolute Enttäuschung. insbesondere da es in Spanien fantastische Produkte gibt. Ich befürchte, der Übersee-Tourismus zerstört die Kultur in ihren Grundfesten. Sehr schade…

La localisation de l'hôtel est parfaite pour visiter la ville à pieds. Accueil formidable (en français). La chambre est superbe, très propre avec une très bonne literie. J'ai aussi apprécié les petites friandises renouvelées tous les jours, tout comme les bouteilles d'eau. Très appréciable également le service voiturier. Tout le personnel est aimable, sympathique. Nous avons également testé le restaurant et tout était parfait.

City centre location was perfect just to walk everywhere. Breakfast had a fab choice of buffet before they offered you the hot food. Staff were exceptionally polite nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend !

The Location and the breakfast were good.

The cleanliness abysmal it only improved after speaking with the front desk. Most of the towels had bad stains on them. The bed sheets were stained. All we heard were excuses. Access to the hotel is not suited for low and wide cars.

Everything!!! One of the best hotels I have stayed in hands down. Absolutely stunning inside and out, the staff were amazing, the service incredible, the beds so comfortable, the gym and pool small but lovely. All in all a superb experience and will be back for sure!

Nothing, it was all perfect!

The hotel is well located in Marbella with a number of excellent restaurants and cofee shop around. The rooms are little dated and can use some renovation.

The price was high compared to the quality of the hotel

Extremely satisfied with everything, in fact the hotel exceed my expectations as they went above & beyond to make sure my city break staying in Seville ha the most lovely experience. Every staff member was superb from the door keeper whom promptly action our luggages and car parking) to the check -in receptionist (RED LEVEL ) whose greeted by a cold refreshing cava the cleaning personal whose were fantastic keeping up the standard of cleanliness, the Lounge girl who kept indulging us with tapas & drinks & the amazing concierge who sort out our day tour on the cathedral as well an delicious dinner. To conclude the Colon Gran Meliá is FAULTLESS!!!!!!

I should have up grade our room to the suite with jacuzzi ( maybe next trip back to Sevilla).

Excellent location, fantastic room with great air conditioning and wonderful Red Level lounge. Very attentive, friendly staff. Perfection.
