Quiet, comfy guest quarters just three miles from Freeport!
Die Gästezimmer sind in einem Tageslichtkeller mit gefliesten Böden und vielen Kiefernakzenten untergebracht. Es gibt ein Queen-Schlafzimmer, einen großen Wohnbereich und ein Vollbad. Die Quartiere sind privat vom Rest des Eigentümers, und es gibt einen privaten Eingang (saisonal). Dies ist die "holzige" Seite eines Hauses, das sich auf 8,5 Hektar Wald befindet, nur wenige Kilometer von Freeport, Maine, entfernt. Viele Vögel und viel Natur. Es gibt keine Küche, aber es gibt eine Kaffeemaschine und einen kleinen Kühlschrank.

In diesem Sommer wird es in der Nähe der Tür Sitzgelegenheiten geben. Neben dem Queensize-Bett haben wir ein Pac'n Play für ein Baby und ein ausklappbares Einzelbett für ein älteres Kind.

There were many choices I could have chosen to stay. The place had great reviews and away from the beaten path but still near town. Wayne sent a message with local suggestions for dining and local attractions that made our stay very enjoyable. The place was as nice as the pictures and the woodworking was excellent. I would not hesitate to book it again.

Extended our original stay and luckily there was room at the inn. Our extra time was just as perfect and hospitable as it was from day one. We rate our time here with the highest possible grade there is.

This property seemed as if we were the first guests ever staying it was so spotless and inviting. Anything we might have needed was available. Beautiful forested and garden surroundings made our stay all the better. We even extended our stay! Hosts Wayne and Kim were attentive if we needed anything but we wondered sometimes if they were around! They made sure we had privacy is my point! We hope this property remains available as we hope to return in the future! Many more times!

The rental is as advertised. Everything looked very new and clean, nicely decorated and a great layout. Property is easy to find, and you can see a million stars in the night sky. Definitely recommend!

Good location about 20-25 minutes from Portland and close to Freeport. Great if you're looking for a quiet stay and make day trips into the city. Clean, and newly renovated with nice amenities.
TIP: If you stay during peak travel times, make reservations (or put your name in early + walk around the city) whenever possible at restaurants, or you will wait at least 30-45 minutes.

Wayne was an amazing host! The place was super clean, quiet, and perfect for a couple’s weekend getaway. It had all of the amenities we needed. Wayne was very helpful and quick at responding. He even offered to make us cheeseburgers when we were hungry at 10pm! He is great. The property is beautiful and you can see the stars at night. Parking was convenient as well. Not far from Portland and Freeport. Would definitely recommend! :)

Wonderful Little Place
The Guest Quarters here are cozy, clean, and close to everything fun in freeport! My husband and I stayed here for 4 days/3nights and we have no complaints whatsoever. The owner, Wayne, is great with communicating, quick to help fix an issues, and if you need anything he made it clear to just ask him. We were comfortable and felt safe in this tucked away little den.

Beautiful! Private and Amazing Location
This property is gorgeous. The owners have put so much thought and care into the details. You really feel welcomed! There is a beautiful stone pathway that takes you to the property entrance, as well as a (super cute) fancy luggage cart you can use. The inside smells amazing, like fresh-cut wood. The shower rainfall head is a great touch in the custom built bathroom. Each of the furnishings were beautiful. There was a Keurig, plenty of coffee to choose from, a fridge and microwave, wifi, TV, and cozy sitting places. The bed was so comfortable! And it was so quiet, we hardly knew we were in someone's basement. The owners even reached out to us to give us an update on the weather and wish us well on our trip! So kind. We were very grateful and appreciative for the stay.

Amazing weekend getaway
We stayed here for labour day weekend and had an amazing time. Wayne and Kim were great and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was very easy to get to from the main road and was exactly as described. I would definitely stay again. If you’re looking for somewhere somewhat in the woods but still very connected, this is the place to go!

Great quiet getaway
Very well equipped with thoughtful touches. The "local knowledge" in the welcome booklet was perfect for planning our stay. Keurig coffee maker is a nice plus. Roku remote and TV is an easy interface. Best value of our stay in Maine.

Had a great time getting to know Maine. Apartment was located in a great place. In fact we were able to find a seafood shop in Brunswick which had 2 lobsters for $29.95. It was so good we had to go back. A second night,

Great accommodations—even better than listed. Excellent secluded location, but less than 10 minutes from downtown Freeport. Gracious and friendly hosts. Highly recommended.

Great for our brief stay
Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a step above a hotel. The newly finished basement suite is attractive and comfortable. Could hear footsteps above occasionally and wish the ants and spiders had rented a different place but bugs happen. Still the comfy bed and central location was perfect for our brief stay in ME.
