The staff were excellent

When booking this room superior double I was not made aware I was out the back and not in the hotel. The hotel is lovely and that's what I was expecting. A room in the hotel. The carpet was filthy.

Bathroom waste bin hadn't been emptied following departure of previous occupants of room. Walk up to room was a bit like a maze and was up a very narrow staircase when carrying luggage.

Thank you The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Excellent value for money. Loved our room with a wing backed chair to relax in. The leisure facilities were great although the changing rooms were a little tired and in need of refurbishment. Would definitely stay again.

Avoid room 112. Outside the very dirty window on the roof below is located gigantic AC unit which makes very loud noise like a cement mixer. Sleeping with open window is impossible, even with window closed had to keep TV running all night to drown out the noise from outside.

Food and beverage and also breakfast room spotless. Food excellent at dinner and breakfast. Waiting staff and reception excellent. Especially the male waiter at dinner.

Lack of information in room. There was letter outlining facilities . But no information about Dinner menu, spa treatments or even how to contact reception. Housekeeping in room not great. Bathroom was spotless. However, bedroom light by bed not working and also missing a lightshade. Table lamp very dusty, as was shade. Rest of room was ok. Considering Covid still around and that some people might have dust allergies. This wasn't so good.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive to all our needs, my partner was treated like a queen 👑💖, well done 👍

Staff helped straight away when there was a problem with my window

Location, staff and breakfast was great. Car park was was easy access. Frontage of building was authentic.

Bathroom grimy, hairs left on ceramic surfaces, dirty marks on bathroom walls, no complimentary water in rooms. Bed was massive and uncomfortable with mattresses joined together. Decor was tired. Air handling unit outside on roof was noisy all night.

Very good staff, food, and facilities. Located not far from the hospital. Everything was brilliant.
