Location is great, very nice swimming pool also!
Very inflexible when trying to modify trip (for no good reason since the hotel wasn’t full), ended up having to pay a night extra because they wouldn’t help us. Restaurant is very expensive and not worth it at all. The cheaper rooms are very close to busy street and not at the beach. The rooms are good size but quite old (shower is terrible for example).

Es wurden uns in der Unterkunft mehrere Hundert Euro gestohlen ebenso unseren Mitreisenden in einem anderen Zimmer. Auf Wunsch wurden die Sicherheitsaufnahmen geprüft, welche wir ebenso ansehen durften. Es war eindeutig das nur der Zimmerservice (2 Personen) im Zimmer war, man hat deutlich gesehen das eine Person „Schmiere“ gestanden hat und es wurde wesentlich länger geputzt als in anderen Zimmern. Wir waren total schockiert, es wurde unser komplettes Gepäck durchwühlt sogar unsere Schmutzwäsche sowie Damenhygiene Artikel wurden durchsucht. Auf dem Weg zur Polizei samt Hotelmanager und Zimmerservice wurde uns schnell klar, dass es sich hier um keinen Einzelfall handelt, denn die Wege und einzelnen Zimmer in der Polizei waren allen Angestellten bekannt und es wirkte so als wüssten sie was passiert. Die 2 Damen hatten recht große Freude da sie ständig lachten und sich lustig machten. Der Hotelmanager war zwar sehr freundlich zeigte jedoch keine Einsicht uns das Geld zu erstatten bzw. eine andere Art von Entschädigung, wir bekamen nicht mal eine Entschuldigung. Nach 3 Wöchiger Thailand Rundreise, war der letzte Stop in diesem Hotel (3Nächte) eine Absolute Katastrophe.

My stay was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. When I arrived my room smelled of dam so they changed my room straight away. My new room the floor was coming up and I brought this to their attention which they said they would deal with.
I thought the breakfast was poor for the money and I didn't enjoy it. The swimming pool also didn't seem that clean. The rest of the stay was good and I always like this hotel. Great location and very friendly.

Airconditioning leaked lots of water from the ceiling. Therefore I didn't use it.

Everything was good for us, one of the better more organised places to stay in Koh Samui, the area is quite run down.

This is our second time there. I travel with my daughter (13). We are always made to feel welcomed. The rooms are always immaculately cleaned each day. The pool is one of our very best in Thailand. Lamai beach is chilllll… Lamai streets are getting much busier now. we prefer it early in the mornings, when the locals are smiling and less tourists. McDonalds is now open in Lamai which shows the place is coming back to life. The pizza in the market at the bottom of the road is exceptional for 180BAHT. We rented a car and parked it in the Weekender car park. Just a lovely place, amazing staff, great little bar by the beach, nicest people. Nice gym. Feels like our home in Thailand.

We have stayed here many times over the past 10 years or more, We always seem to get put in older rooms which need an upgrade at this stage. Its a nice hotel to stay in, rooms nearer beach are newer and look better. Breakfast was nice, especially when they done the a la carte menu..
Room bit outdated has not been upgraded in long time, prob blame covid for that.

Excellent location with a beautiful swimming pool area
Showers too powerful, even with the shower curtain in place it was difficult not to flood the bathroom.

first impression is great, but that’s where most of the positive stuff stops, except the swimming pool which was good
room was dark and very damp with mold on the ceiling which after only 1 night left me with a head cold and sore throat. bathrooms felt unclean with shower water running around the bath and flooding the floor, which only added to the damp feel. reception unstaffed at times, pool/beach bar area lacked enough tables and chairs and was also closed at 5.00pm for a reason we couldn’t work out. breakfast seriously overpriced at 450bhat with so little choice we didn’t bother to eat

I like that it was a beachfront, and the pool was great. The room we have at frist was not ok, the 2nd room they gave us was more ok.
Wi-Fi in the room was so bad. the aircon was not functioning, the room was very hot. There was something bad smell in the room. Salty water in the tap. But the reception transfered us to another room which was ok.

Very comfortable bed , gym facilities and the main pool was excellent.
The pool and restaurant area at night isn't lit so it isn't ideal to sit on the beach and listen to the ocean. The restaurant closes very early. The strip is not a nice street, and takes away from a very nice beach.

My standard room was just about acceptable.
Clean and nicely located as close to the beach, shops and bars. Plenty of hot water and decent A/C.
Nice pool, handy gym and exceptional front of house staff.
Bath tub shower is always a negative.
Very poor choice of TV stations and WiFi reception, uncomfortable bed and outside areas in need of attention with Mother Nature taking control.

Pool, location in Lamai, spacious bungalow, very helpfull and friendly staff, everybody from receptionist to cleaning lady.
Breakfast is lacking the class of the facilities. What is served as coffee is far from beeing coffee. Tasteless chicken sausages, cold fried eggs. This can definately be improved. Room key is still a traditional key. No "card" key.

My daughter and I thought the staff were brilliant. Thank you for your help. Every time we walk past the lobby the staff always smile and wave. Thank you for helping us with everything we asked. The staff were what really made this experience 10 out of 10.
We spent 9 days here. We found the location to be perfect. When I got ill my daughter was able to walk to the pool/restaurant and also the restaurant over the road and the pharmacy down the road. The location was perfect and safe.
The room was spacious, it was cleaned regularly. The balcony was good. Really, we used this place as our base and it was exactly as I expected and hoped. coffee regularly stocked up. Beds regularly made. Bathroom tidied.
We really liked the Weekender…
Oh.. and the pool and the beach but… the pool!!! So beautiful… paradise!

There is a smell from time to time… but really, we don’t look for faults. it’s an inexpensive hotel that is amazing value for money.
Anyone who complains is missing the point.
Is it perfect? No! But… is it friendly and fun and a great location with great stand and value for money? Yes, yes yes! 10 out of 10 x 10!!!
