Room 4 and it's facilities were very well appointed. The bed is extremely comfortable. Towels in the were bathroom lovey and white and soft. Fantastic blackout curtains on the window.

There was very loud music playing until 3.00am on Sunday morning. Not sure if it was coming from the hotel itself or a neighbouring establishment.

Good location for us passing through on travel. Electric car charging station on site, which was excellent. Restaurant was really good. Friendly staff and comfortable stay. Really good value for money!!!

The hotel and surrounding area are really nice. The room was nice, clean, fresh and had air conditioning. I loved the low level lighting when I entered on arrival. The building and it's facilities are really nice. Really liked the bar area, really liked the local town. Good selection of drinks. The restaurant food was really nice. Breakfast was really nice too, really loved the self serv orange juicing machine.

The restaurant staff were not attentive AT ALL, and quite frankly ignored anyone who was English. They offered absolutely no table service to anyone other than locals and I was outright ignored the whole time I was there. Shame because the food I did have to get up to order was really nice. The breakfast was nice, but between 6 and 6.30am, I had to site among the cleaners with the sound of vacuum cleaners going, and the smell of cleaning products which wasn't a nice experience. The guy on reception made me feel extremely awkward with degrading gestures like "sexy" as I walked away, and singing "bye bye baby" when I checked out. I wouldn't come back unless they underwent some serious staff training/restructure.

Good location next to the canal. Huge and comfortable rooms. Very nice restaurant with tasty food. Secure garage for our bikes. Very efficient staff. Good stopover on EV6 bike route as there is now a traffic free cycle route along the canal about 1 mile outside town and the old canal road is now closed to cars.

Food was a bit overpriced but not surprising as it seems to be the best place in town.

Very clean, very good breakfast

The staff was amazing, they always smiled, they answered every question we posed, and they fullfilled all our requests. The room was really clean (no dust in the corners or under the furniture, no hair on the floor). The bed was comfy and the bathroom was 100% functional (nothing broken is a high bar to meet).

No microwave on site.

On site restaurant was excellent Rooms very spacious and modern

Could of done with a kettle to make tea, but that is a personal preference and a few more coffee pods for machine
