Sehr freundliches Personal, schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht auf See und Berge. Feines Frühstück mit Aussicht. Bei Regenwetter ist der Bus dann doch etwas weit weg. Wir stellten unser Programm um und fuhren mit der historischen Sonnenbergbahn hoch zum Hotel. Die fuhr glücklicherweise an "unserem" Wochenende zwischen 10 und 17 Uhr.

Herr Riemann hat persönliche Beziehung aufgebaut und wir haben uns persönlich abgeholt gefühlt. Gemeinsam mit Herrn Riemann war es im Restaurant und beim Einchecken angenehm - sehr gern wieder. Im Haus gibt man sich Mühe. Die Ausstattung ist mit Whirlpool und perfektem Restaurant sowie Bett grandios. Aussicht ist bei jedem Wetter sehr eindrücklich.

Altes Gebäude ist nicht auf dem aktuellen Stand der Geräuschdämmung.

The setting, the room and the delicious dinner overlooking Lausanne and beyond. Absolutely stunning. We had a corner room with a large balcony with views across.

I only wish we could stay longer than the one night.

The hotel was very nice and in a beautiful location, although it is not the most convenient for access to the city of Lucerne. Staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. The funicular has limited hours, so we were not able to use it in order to take a bus into the city. The walk from a bus stop to the hotel is up a steep hill, and we had almost constant rain when we were there, so for us (aged 70+), walking to the hotel was not a reasonable choice. Although there was reduced visibility the entire time there, we could not see the mountains, although we believe the views would be spectacular on clear days.

We thought the food and service was very good, although portion sizes were quite small for the price.

- The Restaurant and view from the terrase and restaurant is amazing. 10 plus. - found a nice surprize for dog accomodation, it was great to find some blankets, bowls and carpet for the dogs, awesome- thanks! -i was alowed to enter the room (early checkin) many hours in advance. - thanks!

Photos of the rooms show you have a nice balcony and fancy bath with spa products. I have specifically booked a more expensive room just to have the balcony and view from it as per the photos. There are only two rooms with balcony and when i asked they were somehow already booked by someome else?- strange and disappointed. The bath was kind of outdated and no spa products were present. - price for dog/night a bit high (20 frank) -i know it is Switzerland but...

the view is amazing good value for money
