Location is great, the room and the hotel in general are very clean and well maintained. Everyone from the staff treated us very nice, always having a positive attitude and a smile. Definitely recommend and would 100% stay here again.

heerlijk hotel op rustige plek buiten het centrum. shuttlebus beschikbaar om je naar het oude centrum te brengen maar is goed te lopen (2km). goede bar met hapjes. prachtig groot zwembad en zee voor de deur. goede kamer met goed bed en balkon uitstekend ontbijt

Breakfast is AMAZING: Hotel is in an excellent location, easy walk to town, and a bonus of a free shuttle to and from the Hotel to Town. Beds are a bit hard for my comfort, but staff were exceptional, place was clean and modern with everything you needed

Was a little outside the old town of Alghero but no issue if u like walking (15 mins at a stroll) as view on way in is to die for. But they offer a shuttle most of the day with the last return being at 11.30am. The inside has been refurbished to a great standard with an excellent pool and small private beach both of which had a lifeguard all day. They also upgraded us to a sea view room on arrival. Our booking included breakfast and what a breakfast an absolute abundance of choice.

From start to finish, we enjoyed a very relaxing few days, the receptionists, the staff in the restaurant and the staff in the bar were all so nice and nothing was any bother for them, the breakfast was delicious with a very good variety of foods and there was a lady who made fantastic omelettes or fried eggs to order, the pool was crystal clear, and the whole hotel was spotless, the beds we're really comfy and our room had a great beach view as well as poolside view, absolutly couldn't fault this hotel, i'd highly recommended it.

The only thing I would say which is nothing to do with the hotel itself was that there was a male lifeguard on duty on our 1st day, who was rude to 2 women who had difficulty in putting up their parasol, it seemed like he was bring inconvenienced by having to help them, but on the the other days of our stay there was a lovely young lifeguard on duty who was pleasant and she smiled and helped anyway she could around the pool, so well done to her

The staff were lovely. Very helpful particularly the bar manager. He was extremely friendly. The pool area was well kept. Overall a lovely place for a relaxing holiday

Séjour Super 🤩 ! La gentillesse du personnel - de l’accueil au service à la piscine - mention particulière à Giuseppe le barman qui est d’un dévouement pour vous servir sur votre terrasse. Bref nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel - une balade de l’hôtel à la plage Maria Pia en vélo est juste à prévoir également. Merci 🙏 pour votre accueil chaleureux

Absolument rien

The location was perfect just outside of the bustling town centre. The pool was fantastic the staff were super friendly and always there to help. Our 3 nights in Hotel Calabona was the highlight of our 17 days in Sardinia.

The bed was very hard.. Which is a personal preference but I found it hard to sleep.

Nice quite hotel, rooms (ours was seaview) were clean, beds very comfortable amd nice size balcony - handy 10 mins walk to center but shuttle bus from hotel was very handy

There was nothing we didn:t like but a little evening entertainment may have added a little atmosphere to the hotel

Great location nice staff and the rooms were ideally placed to enjoy a great view.

The restaurant and menu was very limited could do with more options.The small beach attached to the hotel was very rocky and made bathing very difficult.

Great location very close to the city center. The hotel also organizes a taxi van to take guest into the city in each 10 mins that is a great service. The rooms are okay, spacious. We also had a nice view. Beds are okayish. Overall, 3-star is a more appropriate rating for this hotel.

The beach at the hotel is not a real beach. The breakfast was disappointing.

Upgrade the beds.

The location of this hotel was great, there was a free shuttle most of the day and evening to take you closer to the town (walk was around 20 minutes otherwise). Amazing beach which was mostly for hotel guests opposite the hotel where you did not need to pay for beds. Breakfast was great so much range of drinks and hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, pancakes, pastry, fruit etc). Lots of beds around the pool and beds were still free around 9am. Really large pool and a bar at the pool which served drinks and food. Room was lovely, no complaints.

It was good location , The restaurant staff was very helpful , pool was very clean . There was good variety of food for the breakfast and seat space . Good there was shuttle to the town free of charge for lunch and dinner time. The beach was reserved for hotel , although sometime not enough chairs. Room was spacious.

Just wasn’t enough food options , one of the ladies at the reception didn’t really explain hotel offers such as breakfast pool times and like where we could rent towels or so on when we check in and there was confusion when we check out about the taxi . The cleaner didn’t take our dirty mugs for the whole time we was there and we left it out but didn’t know what to do and we had to ask for more toilet paper. The shower felt a bit too small and tight.

Location, Staff, Hotel & Beach

Most nights, bar closed before 11pm Not enough sun beds around pool and some with towels on most of the day but not used.

Varied and tasty breakfast. Easy to find a free parking on the street in front of the hotel. Air conditioning worked continuously, which was a great help given the 38+ degrees we had during our stay in Sardinia.

Furniture quite old, our room had a very tiny balcony (our room was on the corned of the building, the other rooms had a larger balcony though). Opening hours for their beach and pool a bit inappropriate: they collected the sun beds and umbrellas on the beach at 18:30, even though during our stay we had 38+ degrees, and it was extremely hot to go on the beach before 17.

Bedroom large enough, with varanda and direct access to swimming pool area. Location of the hotel is good and the shuttle service to the old town was very convenient.

Shower had hairs from previous guest. And the breakfast area was busy and too noisy.
