The room suited our family (2 adults, 1 child). The location had a pool and nice play areas. There was a gym, but it was not large or well-equipped. The breakfast buffet was great and the bar at the hotel was cozy and inviting.

The rooms were dated (it is an old hotel...but still the room felt a bit shabby). The shower could use a better divider to keep water from flooding the floor. While there is free parking, there is only limited parking right on the premises, with more parking across the street. It was not easy to access the front door without a car (one of the adults had a sprained ankle), which made accessing the hotel a little slow and challenging.

Beautiful building with a lot of history. They kept old items/old decorations that you can spend some time enjoying, just going around and discover the old furniture, pictures, paintings… very interesting. This means that the style of the hotel including rooms are antique, which I find fascinating. So don’t expect nothing super modern, that’s not this hotel vibe. This was a last meeting booking so the only available room was facing the train tracks/station. So, this time there was no view to enjoy. So if you have the opportunity, do book a room facing the water, I have been here some times before and I can say that the view is spectacular. So, even though the room was facing the train tracks, the insulation was quite good, so there was almost no noise that would bother a good night sleep. The room was very spacious and clean. Really small bathroom but was ok. The breakfast is served in a marvelous room. (again me talking about the decorations/style). The breakfast was quite good with a good variety of choices, in line with what to expect for an hotel like this. After breakfast take a walk to the terrace and enjoy the view, it’s worth while. Friendly staff. Great with parking, free and with a lot of space.

I asked for rooms without the noise of the railway nearby and my wish was accommodated. I like the green view of my rooms. The hotel is facing a lake with very green reflections, which is a pleasant surprise. The dining room is very refleshing with a wide selection of food. Easy parking.

The location is superb just by the Voss station. The lake is cross the street. Easy walking distance to main attractions. The historic authentic style of the hotel was distinguished. There is a very nice large sitting area facing the lake. The restaurant is also facing the lake.

We had breakfast three times and we wished there were omlets made by order for breakfast. We booked standard double rooms, and the shower door didn't prevent the water from spilling over the bathroom floor.

It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had .we arrived at 1pm ..waited around till almost 3pm to check in ..snd discovered no hot water ..they didn’t tell us there was a leak till we asked and the hot water didn’t come back on till 930pm at night The manager Eric argued with us the following morning saying that it was absolutely fine to have to wait for the water to get Luke warm after more than 5 minutes running the water He blamed it on the hotel being over 100 years old …appalling customer service skills

Swimming pool was really nice! Room was too, good shower. Breakfast outside was amazing.

Carpet floors nearby the swimming pool can definitely use some cleaning/replacement. Pretty sure there was some mould there.. Otherwise, really good stay!

View of the lake was fantastic! Location for the tour we took was phenomenal! Wait staff in the restaurant was excellent! The older woman at the front desk was sweet and accommodating!

Parking across the street made it a bit more complicated to get something out of the car quickly, but not a big deal. Also, many people staying up late on the outside deck added a bit of noise to our evening slumber.

Very nice classic styled hotel with modern bathroom, enjoyable swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The dining room and breakfast buffet are clearly scaled for large groups. Direct access from the train station platform.

Dinner was announced till 21h, but the kitchen closed already at 20h45. Everything else in town was also closed by 21h, so we ended up eating a hot dog at the Esso petrol station across the street. That was very disappointing for this classy hotel. :-(

Location excellent, right next to train station and gondola (easy for skiing). Very friendly staff. Room was very spacious, could easily accommodate 2 adults and 1 or 2 children. Excellent breakfast buffet.

The dinner in the restsurant was not good, compared to the price. The bread was old and dry. The waiters had clearly too many guests to serve.
