L’emplacement au top..très belle décoration , chambre spacieuse, personnel souriant et agréable , petit déjeuner au top

Nous avons pris une chambre famille car nous avons deux enfants et nos enfants on dormi sur un canapé lit à la literie très moyenne , cela ne nous dérange pas mais pour le prix de la chambre c’est très moyen, plus de pile dans la télécommande , une télé sur deux ne marchait pas et nous avions une lumière qui clignotait , on l’a dit à l’accueil et on nous demandé de l’éteindre car il nous la changerai pas donc une partie dans le noir et toujours pareil au prix de la chambre c’est dommage … si non c’est un très belle hôtel

The location was superb, the bed comfortable and the room very clean. Friendly staff in the breakfast room...and good breakfast selection although not as good as the Clarion, Oslo which we visited prior to our stay.

We were so looking forward to our stay in Bergen and spent sometime researching. Sadly the pictures shown on Booking.com of this hotel - showing bright and breezy, pastel shaded colours were far from the very dark and grim room - three rooms we were shown. Not one was better than the other for our three night stay. I thought this must be the Norwegian style but we stopped in 5 hotels during our holiday and that wasn't the case. I know Norway is expensive but I believe we paid a high price for what is a very dreary room with a plastic plant on the table, no phone to call reception, no information in the room, no window in our son's room - a very depressing room and not one 'added touch'. As we had moved rooms - we were awoken at 3 am by three Spanish guests entering our room...bit of a shock for all of us...trying to explain to some very tired Spanish visitors what must have happened and having not phone to call reception - added to the frustration. I'm guessing the receptionist that swopped our room failed to swop the late night check-ins. The hotel did refund us £36.00 for this. Also a tip for any foreign visitors driving to Bergen - there are limited car park spaces below the hotel and the other car park just along from the hotel uses a Apcoa Connect App but a UK version will not work - so pay using machine just inside Ground Floor (not highly visible). Having called the number given for help - no answer - I resorted to reviews written on the car-park to avoid being fined (as reception couldn't help with this either) and read a review from another UK visitor advising of the machine.

We wanted to stay in the Bryggen area and Clarion Hotel Bergen was a great choice for the start of our independent "Norway in a Nutshell" tour. We arrived by the airport bus, dropped near the hotel, and departed by ferry to Flam which was a short walk to the ferry boarding. We did not use hotel services such as bar or restaurant (except for breakfast, which was very good). Many sights are easy walking distance, also many very excellent restaurants especially in the fish market. The old Bryggen area adjacent is very easy to visit. My only caution is for people with mobility issues, the hotel is a short but possibly challenging walk up a side street from the harbor main road where the airport bus drops off, unless you are being delivered directly to the hotel.

We were in an older style room (Different from the photos ) that was difficult to find and no help from the staff .

Reception molto gentili e disponibilii. Colazione eccezionale. Personale davvero ottimo (Abdo e lo chef venezuelano). Posizione perfetta e nel complesso design accattivante.

Doccia dentro vasca con tenda non è il massimo. Almeno una bottiglietta d'acqua in camera va messa in un hotel di questo tipo. Da ultimo, la sauna era chiusa per ristrutturazione, sarebbe meglio saperlo prima e non dopo che si è arrivati.

Well located hotel walking distance from attractions, restaurants, bars and cafes. Nice rooms - perfectly adequate if spending most of your time exploring. Friendly staff, and excellent breakfast to start your day.

Nothing worth noting.

We loved everything about our stay at the Clarion Hotel. The staff were very helpful in every department. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was ample with a great selection of choices, and the reception staff answered every question we had in a polite and respectful manner. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable and the ritual toiletries were very good quality A nice touch was the room outside the lifts where tea and coffee are available all day. The locality of the hotel is excellent and it was easy to get to the sights we wanted to see. We will gladly book this hotel again if, and when, we return to Bergen.

Alte Badewanne. Moderne Dusche wäre zeitgemäß.

Das Personal war sehr kompetent und hilfsbereit. Alles hat super funktioniert ohne Probleme. Zimmer waren sehr geräumig, WLAN funktioniert gut, ein Aufzug war vorhanden. Beim Frühstücksbuffet hatte man eine sehr große Auswahl und schmeckte ausgezeichnet. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen.

Es gab keine Dusche nur eine Badewanne. Zu wenig Beleuchtung im Schlafzimmer.

Isabella from Spain at the reception was really nice and professional. I told her about something to fix it and she did it. The waiter at the breakfast from Egipto was very nice also.
