The restaurant staff (we used the Ayur Soma facilities for meals) were extra helpful and very friendly. The location and view from the sea facing cottages are wonderful.
The cottage rooms could be done up a bit better - compared to the Ayur Soma rooms they are a bit older.

Everything especially the excellent service and fantastic view from our Superior room. Thank you
NO coffee in our room despite being told so when I enquired beforehand.

I cannot praise this beautiful village highly enough. Such a healing place. The staff go out of their way to be helpful. The facilities are exceptional, amazing pools and the Ayurvedic treatments are taken very seriously and delivered with absolute commitment. The meals are prepared according to the Ayurvedic concepts and Dosha types. The grounds are lovely. The beach nearby is a public one but with a section for the hotel staff.
Can’t think of anything!

It is a good place for relax
It is not a right place as mentioned as a "hospital"

Beautiful view and nice room with a balcony. Pool area was lovely and relaxed. Very clean rooms and good A/C. Food was nice. Massages were good. Definitely worth the experience!
Issues with laundry service - delays and missing times.
Beds kept coming apart during the night as it was two singles pushed together.

A well spread Buffet Breakfast. A variety of healthy food, beverages, fruits.

Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location and lovely food. Excellent pool and beach facilities just on the doorstep
Sometimes we had to repeat the same thing multiple times because the staff were not communicating with each other. A minor niggle as they were otherwise lovely
Despite our booking and arrival time being confirmed by Booking.com, the staff were not expecting our arrival and did not have a room ready. Instead we were told by a desk staff member that we had not confirmed our booking which gave an initial very poor impression.

location to the beach was great. acces to other hotels were useful
Few things to raise. we asked for a fridge and initially it was agreed that they would put one in our room. it was then decided that they could not do it.
secondly, there was an assumption (twice) about our ability to dress appropriately for swimming pool which made us feel discriminated and uncomfortable.
third 2 night of beach raves on 31 Dec and 1st Jan (not hotels fault) meant music blaring until 530 in the morning.
4th the rooms had number of bugs infesting it. I would suggest review your infestation policy. while we slept in net curtains it did not out off the bugs especially mosquitoes.

location was OK.
Website should mention that hotel and hospital is in same place. Once reached we have been asked to sign the GRE card which shows Patient signature. First put off. Restaurant food was horrible no seasoning in any food. Breakfast choices was very bad. Ordered for a cheese and veg omelette, unable to see any traces of cheese and veg and so blunt. Ordered again to put some seasonings again came the same way. Buffet food was very hard and pathetic. If this place accommodate regular guests other than patients then they should have a regular food not fair to eat the patient’s food. Fan, room phone and Air conditioner in the room didn’t work and had to inform the reception to repair it. And later the Air Conditioning switches off on its own later in the night along with fan. Couldn’t sleep for the whole night properly. Very bad experience. Regular people please don’t go.

The property was beautiful, calm and clean.
The attitude of the doctor at the ayurveda clinic. When I tried to explain how much time I had in my hand (as I had a flight to catch) to get the treatment done, he snapped. He said I should come there only if I had patience!

easy checkin and checkout
Staff well mannered
This is ayurvedic hospital type resort though I booked for spending holidays with family
Their breakfast was not delicious and is typical and authentic kerala ayurvedic menu .
room service was not satisfactory . TV was not working in our three rooms . Though we requested few times daily , no body came to fix the issue till our checkout . In house dining was not satisfactory

The property is excellent, clean and very relaxing. Service is superb. Very close to the beach and has an area manned by the property personnel. The service from the staff is exceptional. However with a restaurant of excellent ambiance the food is definitely not to any standards. Exotic names and Ayurvedic identity does not make the food tasty. Felt that the food is blant and lacks taste . Well this is my opinion and not of the majority of the foreign tourists who get fooled by these exotic dishes. All vegetarian
Food of course. Can't understand why one has to serve tasteless food in the name of Ayurvedic theme.

Everything- the room, the pool, the common area, the garden the beach
The food was disappointing. Did not know that they provide only ayurvedic food. There was no mention during the booking that non-veg food is not available. The available veg options too were minimal and disappointing. The staff were supportive but they were helpless when we complained about the lack of options . The reason we were told was that the property is an ayurvedic hospital also and hence provides ayurvedic food only.
That is totally fine. But there should have been a clear mention of the same when someone makes a booking online.

I loved everything about this exceptional place. The outstanding and committed services provided by all, including the Doctors and the enormous support services and the management of the property.
It was falsely claimed that the Beach was Private and the Posted Photo was misleading. Well its NOT Private nor is it as calm and clean as it looks on the photo! Beware of early morning meditative walks that you dream of when signing up! It is shared by dangerously lurking mongrels, 3 of which attacked me and left me with badly hurt tailbone requiring special attention for several days. I am only happy and surprised to admit that it was all I had to endure out of the nightmare of an attack even after being thrown on the hard shores of the Arabian Sea by the pack of frothing, violent dog attack. Shortly after there were couple of other guests, I understand, had to be taken to the local hospital for shots and stitches after only 1 dog attacking them! The horrific scene of the looming dogs over me while I was down, in such a vulnerable position, will haunt me for a long time indeed. When I brought this to the attention of the management, I was told it was a municipal issue!
Also the Beach is shared by the Pubic and Local Vendors, many of them with total disregard for keeping their precious shoreline clean and safe for all to use. For example, many a times, while walking, with a long stick for protection nowadays, I have come across broken glass shards on the shoreline, which I have personally picked up and removed to protect our carefree, bare feet while walking! Unsightly garbage, many left in half burnt condition for days and days is not quite the peaceful beach site I thought I was signing up for!
Though no fault of the Property itself, there was one other issue that while staying started to get very annoying. What should have been a beautiful and serene place for healing, therapy, meditation, yoga and such was unfortunately marred by unfathomable blaring from the loud speakers from nearby churches, starting as early as 5 a.m. (!) and continuing for several hours (!) that holds everyone in its surrounding area an involuntary and unhappy hostage!
