I'm unhappy with this hotel. My money was stolen due to their poor management. They didn't help much when I reported it. I didn't find anything to like about this place.
At the hotel's request, we brought cash to pay for the room. However, we were robbed within the hotel, which left us short of cash and forced us to pay our room fee in US dollars. Given our upcoming itinerary and concern for personal safety, we had no choice but to leave. The hotel's dismissive attitude and lackluster handling of the situation left us extremely disappointed.

just check in went well , service staff was friendly and accommodating.
First of all room rate is way too high compared to next door real resort Hale Mana (which we moved to after 3 nights with Blue Orchid). As steep price per night as a 4 stars resort actually is just a 2 stars motel. So you will not get what you pay for because of no amenities such as : Wifi spotty, no coffee in room, no cups, no free breakfast, no safe box, no water bottle daily , no slippers. shower head, faucet are rusty, low water pressure.
Family room suite we stayed is just a bare old sleeping quarter built like a medieval circular watch tower with insufficient lighting created a claustrophobic.
The property is very small and offers no beach at all, just a seawall and very trashy, rocky short shoreline below.
The small swimming pool is for those who come here for diving lesson not for guests who want to hangout to enjoy.
Since there is no garden or open space guests just don't know what to do in this limited area and feel suffocating if staying in room for a while.
The room rate is high perhaps the of hosting most of European divers (British, Scottish). Non-European guests may not feel the Philippines culture here or South East Asia culture assimilation.
The good catch is when checking out, they don't accept visa card which never be mentioned at booking.com but visa info must be provided to get booking complete. The allocution from owner is an long Email with "no visa accepted this time buried in the middle of the email. They should have worked with booking.com on this in the first place when guest is asked for visa card. We feel this is just an entrapment colluded by booking.com and blue orchid.
After disputing for a while with the owner(with professional manner), we finally had to gather all the cash in the pocket and shelled out $501USD (included 1 dinner) to settle the check-out process.
Guest will be more happier if staying at Hale Manna Resort (Bungalow style, more open space, free amenities, free water sport gears and cheaper)

The whole hotel staff is very friendly. The hotel is in the middle of nature, right in front of the sea, it is wonderful. They themselves offer several tours and bike rental, which is very practical, but the price is a bit steep.
I loved our stay! I only stayed a few days, I wish I could have stayed longer to better enjoy the pool and the bar. Don't expect anything too fancy or sophisticated, but the hotel is very cozy and clean

Everything was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived until the time we left, everything was excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We loved the variety of activities that were available, sardine run, snorkelling and diving.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly exceptional experience. The staff, amenities, and activities were all top-notch, and I cannot wait to visit again in the future!"

Lovely lush grounds, large comfortable room and bathroom, great having the dive shop onsite, loved being at the water, and friendly, helpful staff. And we had the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen in my life, anywhere!
A kettle and our own drinking water in our room would be nice (but this was easily accessible at the main bar :) ).

Warm atmosphere
The pictures increased my expectations, this is a standard 2* hotel.

It is located in a nice and quiet place in Moalboal, away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristic areas, which was great after a tiring day exploring moalboal and its surrounding areas. We loved our stay here. The staff are really nice.
The air conditioning in our room was not strong enough to cool our entire room, but we did have an electric fan. It would have been nicer if the air conditioning worked well, though.

great staff and offerings!

Room with sea view, comfortable bed, friendly staff and owner, nature close garden, tasty green curry, provably great diving sites.
The property and the facilities need to be refurbished! In reality It doesn’t look like in the pictures of the advertisement and definitely not a 4star level. Bad organisation: we had to move from one room to another during our staying in the hotel. You can not completely look the door of your room and it is very noisy and hard to move the sliding doors. There is no fridge, kettle or TV in the room which makes you buy everything from their bar in addition to the overpriced room. Not too clean swimming pool, lots of rubbish all around the property, right beside the garden and the car park. Bad road to the property. Terrible Wi-Fi which is annoying if you have to stay in the hotel due to the bad weather. Once I got a soup with absolutely undercooked fatty pork pieces (I always eat everything but that was just simple not eatable). The breakfast is starting between 8am and 8:30am (never seen anything like this before) and the waiting time for your meal is always 30-40minutes.

Quiet, small, cozy accommodation overlooking the beach. Friendly staff who treats you like part of the family. The decor, while comfortable and clean, is a little dated but gives it a rustic feel. mosquito netting over our beds helped to keep mozzies away but we did not encounter many. The kitchen serves decent Filipino dishes. Diving was with a dive master who is patient and very friendly. Resort was able to arrange whale shark swimming and canyoneering.
Quite secluded so requires a Tuk Tuk to get to town. The resort is able to arrange transport.

Friendliest and kind staff! Clean facilities. They provide all of the excursion opportunities and for very reasonable prices.
They were hit by a large typhoon. Some of the paths are not lit and broken.

Lovely staff who are super helpful, amazing 'homely' food and an incredible location. We had to extend our stay because it was such an incredible stay. We loved every minute of our stay and are very keen for our next visit, hopefully sometime soon!

The owner from England was really kind, the stuff helped us with motorcycle rental and everything we needed. The food was amazing. Also, The Blue Orchid Resort was ideal for snorkeling (we saw many corals, fish and even turtles). White Beach is in walking distance.

I loved the quietness and tranquility of the location; especially in the morning hours when it's still cool.
The entire staff is very welcoming! They'll do their best to accommodate your needs! Overall if you're looking for a resort that's out of the way from noise pollution, this place is a must try!
Michael and his beautiful family will greet you as you arrive....and if lucky their puppy too.
Only one thing; my doorhandle wasn't working too well. But it's all good....

Above all the staff and owners were super friendly and helpful. Nice and quiet area of Moalboal. The dinner we had there was very good. Room a good size with a nice view of the sea.
The WiFi was very poor, stopping and starting and often unusable. The de-luxe room we had was OK, but not particularly comfortable. There is room for a desk and chair but there was none. There was a two-person hard bench in the room but no soft sofa or chairs to sit on. No water in the room, nor other conveniences like TV, kettle with tea/coffee. Toilet handle broken. The resort is in a great location, but the last kilometre of road is very bad. The owners need to invest capital to bring this resort up to a decent level.

Room was spacious and clean.
Could have provided Body wash and shampoo.
No sand to walk around the resort.
I feel like the resort itself is a little bit small for you to have a stroll or to explore.

Meals were not bad, and rooms were clean. Generally the staff were friendly
Rooms are way overpriced for what you get. No fridge in the room, no coffee in the room (we were told we can make coffee in kitchen before they open, but there was only a kettle, no coffee, sugar or creamer). No toiletries unless you consider a bar of soap toiletries. Shower water pressure was on and off the whole time whilst trying to shower. No comprehensive account supplied on check out just a piece of paper with room number and amount owing.... not very professional in my opinion.

Spacious. It was quiet and relaxing. I loved the area. Had the best views. Everything was phenomenal.
Nothing was bad.

The rooms are big and very clean. The staffs are very accommodating and very nice.
The place is peaceful and very nice.
The place is very ideal if you really want some relaxation. I will surely come back.
If you are a group, you should make sure to bring the supplies you'll need, because their kitchen is open at 8am to 8pm only. And the store outside is quite far.

The owner was very nice. Made us feel right at home.
