My wife and I enjoyed the private room and air conditioning. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was receptive to our needs, and we had a pleasant time!
The only thing that could improve was that we didn't have hot water for the first part of our stay, so it was luke warm -- however, due to the heat, it wasn't bad.

It was downtown and you can park the car three houses further away in a parkinglot.
The entrance is shabby, the building is old, the pool dirty, the neighborhood is at the edge, the description of everything is far away from reality. Everything is small, little, old, outdated. The path from the entrance on the frontside until the outdated rooms in the back, that stone path is the only spare room on the hole premise. Amsterdam smell because of smokers next to the pool, really nothing good to tell about. We were some other nights in beautiful Merida hotels for half the price.
After we had refused the given rooms (Kingsize?) and had left the hostel I complained to the manager; he gave me a voucher for anothervtime. No way Jose!

I really enjoyed my stay in this Che Hostel! I traveled solo and it was easy meeting new people. If you don’t feel like company, there is enough space also in the shade to relax, wifi was always very good. The pool area is really nice, one day i just stayed in the hammocks:) the Walking Tour with Alexis was amazing, he showed us local markets and local delicious food places. Also the cenotes tour was super, 3 cenotes and lunch together:)
The staff is really helpful and nice, thank you Alexis for the wonderful activities, Erick, Wren, Jess Margaux thank you for the delicious breakfast and good Drinks:) Thank you Esther, Maggie, Angie, Erik, Diego, Carlos, Eduard, Alejandro for keeping the hostel clean and well maintained! And finally thanks Katy, Luis, Emma, Mauricio for the good infos and warm welcome at the reception. Hopefully see you soon:)

The room was very large, as was the bath. The pool area had a breeze and the trees provided a good shade most of the day. The staff was very energetic and helpful. The guests were a good international mix of interesting people.
i had to remind the staff to turn on the AC every night. A minor annoyance.

Great base for exploring Mérida. A very social vibe without being a hugely party hostel. Cool organized tours by the hostel including cenote day, beach sunset, etc. Lots to eat and do within walking distance. Maybe the most comfortable beds of any hostel I've ever been at.
The pool is huge and had great water temperature.
They sell beer, but don't have a proper bar area. The AC hours are pretty stingy (10-8, if I recall correctly) and rooms can be quite hot if you want an afternoon siesta (which you will because Mérida is insanely hot). There's no real indoor common area, and the areas by the pool can be hot and have lots of mosquitos--a fan in the side table area near the pool would be very nice.
They booked multiple groups of schoolchildren, which was somewhat bizarre for a hostel chain known as party hostels. The kids could be loud in the mornings when adult guests wanted to relax by the pool.

The location was a 5 minute wall from the Plaza Grande and other little parks in the area as well as local restaurants and bars. It's also a close walk to Paseo de Montejo.
The building is inconspicuous but once you enter its huge and so pretty! The pool is so necessary for the Merida heat!
I stayed in one of the suite rooms and it was beautiful. The room overlooked the trees in the courtyard and it feels very tropical. The room has a screen door as well so you can have your door open and let in fresh air if you're spending time in the room ( I only did this when it poured one day). The room isn't huge but well layed out and it was the exact size you need if you're getting your own room at a hostel without it feeling like you were at a hostel. The bathroom/shower was super clean and had nice products available for use. It was quiet as well which is what I needed because I had a work presentation to do one of the days I was there.
The staff was lovely. Very friendly and helpful in answering any questions I had.
I was busy most of the time there but the hostel did offer a wide range of daily activities for guests to participate in and had a coordinated whatsapp chat to keep people connected. It wasn't forced but it was nice to know what was going on while staying at Che.
It may seem a little pricier than other hostels but if you could plan ahead and make it work I would highly recommend staying here!

Pitch perfect customer service. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere with great music as well as many social activities and day trip options. Beautiful, old colonial architecture with gardens, hammocks, tall, shady trees and a fantastic large pool, Private rooms and dorms available. There is a co-working space and a game room. You can cook in the kitchen if you like. Central location near Av. Montejo museums and posh shops, Sta. Lucia, Santiago Market, museums in the main plaza, the folk art museum etc.&

The location was good and the staff and volunteers were friendly.
I liked the bed and the facilities overall. Although I didn't partake, they had a lot of neat activities like salsa dancing lessons, home-made burger night, drinking games, etc..
It was also nice that they had towels to rent and cheap locks for your footlocker.
I also appreciated the gatitos that hung out at the hostel. They made the place feel a bit more homey.
The music was sometimes a bit too loud, but it was turned off at 11pm so it wasn't too bad.
The booking site said breakfast was included, but that isn't really true. You have to pay 120 pesos for breakfast, so it's not actually included in the price. I wouldn't say this is the fault of the hostel as much as the booking site.

The staff is amazing, they really make effort to organize programme and various activities for guests (including pop-up lunch/dinner for a fair price). If you are lucky, you can come across a bunch of very nice people there and easily spend a whole evening chatting by the pool. I found my bed very comfy, liked the little curtains around every place.
Towels are not provided automatically.

The location is great.
People are respectful and let you sleep at night.
The pool area is not maintained, water is blurry, sun bed not really clean.
breakfast is very expensive for what it is.

Nice room, the hostel has a good location. The swimming pool was a great place for a cool dip.
Despite the fact that there was quite some noise in the pool area (people and loud music) the room was quiet.
It's advertised as such, but be aware that there is a real 'hostel vibe'. There are groups of people hanging out in the pool area and there is quite loud music. Don't expect to chill and read a book here, but in our room we didn't have any problems with the noise. The noise stops after 10 at night.

Super noisy, very hard to sleep and can hear people in other rooms breathing

The vibe is amazing.
The mattress of my room (11) was very uncomfortable.

I really like the swimming pool and chill out area, as well as the activities they offer. The people working in the hostel are very friendly.
They shared rooms are very big and I loved having space.

Water refills in reception, tours booked from the hostel, activities most nights (although we didn’t take advantage of these, they looked fun), great pool, staff were lovely, location is perfect, 24hr check in and out, quiet and relaxing atmosphere, the room was super comfy, housekeeping only came if you asked, the kitchen was well supplied with everything you might need.
More hooks in the bathroom would be great, there was only one and we had two towels to hang up to dry after showers etc.
A curtain over both windows so the morning light doesn’t wake you up would be an improvement. Currently there is one window that just has frosted glass/privacy film which doesn’t block the light completely. Two small things in consideration of all the positives.

The staff makes a real effort to connect and answer all questions. So they remembered my name, and when they didn't know answers to my questions, they'd look for someone who would know. Like, what is the trip to the flamingoes like? (It wasn't flamingo season, so nice, but only a few flamingoes in the distance)
I stayed in a large room with a large double bed. Despite the 38°C outside, the room was at a comfortable temperature even without fan or AC on.
The hostel has a cute swimming pool with some beds and umbrellas.
There are lots of shops and restaurants around.
It is a 20 minute walk from the ADO bus. It's easy to take an Uber.

Nice dorm room. Shower was great. Staff were very helpful and they had activities. Great gated parking
Would have been nicer if the approach to the dorm room was not gravel (a little hard on bare feet). No bar
8.0 / 10.0
The bed was really big in the double room and also very comfortable. The hostel was in a great location close to the best bars and restaurants. The staff allowed us to leave our bags at reception.
The swimming pool was always busy, so there were no sunbeds available. It's a great place to meet people but not if you want to just relax. No breakfast included, but there is a choice to pay extra.

The room was fine and away from activities so quiet. Location was great close to many great restaurants.
Was really as expected.

The pool was amazing! There was also a little yoga area, which was nice! Location was great too.
Breakfast should've been included as the price was quite high. The bathroom situation is not great, no privacy and the (open) toilets were basically in the middle of the dorm
7.0 / 10.0
The location is close to the centre of town by foot and the ADO bus terminal by taxi. The room was reasonable for the cheap price.
We left the door hanger on the door to request our room to be cleaned and our room wasn't cleaned

The team was very friendly and helpful. Our double room was clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom was equally clean and the shower spray was amazing!

I had an amazing time staying at this hostel! The pool was huge and provided the perfect place to cool off on a hot day. The activities on offer were great, and the activities staff were always enthusiastic and helpful in planning fun things to do. I would recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable stay with plenty of things to do.

It was a really good location and the pool was a nice bonus. The dorm room was HUGE! But perhaps a better door to the bathrooms would be helpful.
The staff were very unhelpful! It sometimes felt like you were interrupting them when you had a question.

Nice pool with comfy loungers and hammocks .nice and quiet!
Coffee in morn. 30 pesos!
Good events
I was told it was loud and party central but they were wrong!!

there’s a really laid back vibe and the staff was super helpful
the first night the air condition was making a loud noise and they tried to fix it with tape :/ The problem was gone just for an hour, so because there wasn’t any other available room to move us, they offered us the option to refund the two other nights we had booked.

Location is great to discover Merida.
If you're looking for a place to party and meet people, this is the right place. Nice pool area.
This is a hostel! The name on booking with adult only in it is confusing. You will get a room in a hostel. Room is very basic and dark. Way to expensive for what you get. The regular staff working there wasn't very motivated.

Very lively central location with great staff and organised tours.
Room was cold with thin sheets, January night temperature dropped to 12°c
8.0 / 10.0
The different activities that the hostel offers to guests, for example, the salsa and mixology classes. Some of the staff at the hostel were extremely nice and helpful to me and other guests.
The hostel is nice, but way too expensive, as I paid almost US$45 a night for a shared room (6 bunk beds, 12 people). Besides, they asked me to pay extra for the key and the towel. Breakfast was not included. No soap in the showers. I sincerely feel I was overcharged for 4 nights and not being able to get a towel.
