The overall scenery is impressive and the boat ride from D1 very nice.The room setting ( beds and other related facilities) is OK.Breakfast choice and selection are appropriate. Restaurant menu regarding vietnamese dishes might be a bit more various and tastes "better vietnamese". Western dishes choice is OK though.

Beautiful secluded location with amazing gardens

The staff were lovely, very helpful and the small swimming pool area was relaxing. the bar upstairs was also beautiful . They made the room extra lovely as it was our anniversary.

The food was not great, it was expensive for what it was. We sent some food back as it was cold and they didn’t charge us for it but it was disappointing.

Transport to and from the resort is very convenient to arrange. There is a free water taxi service provided at certain timings and you can easily book a grab to take you directly to the airport. The lobby is situated under a beautiful canopy of trees and there you will be greeted with a tasty cool drink and fruits while your butler initiates the check-in process. The room itself was spacious, tastefully decorated, and everything you could possibly need was provided. The TV comes with netflix and Amazon prime which kept me entertained throughout my stay.

Although the room was huge, the overall compound was smaller than expected. There's not much to explore within the resort itself. I crossed paths with a large rat in the morning but I'm not sure if that is to be expected given the rural location of the resort. Also the sight of the river dulls after a while. It's definitely not stunning enough if you're chasing scenic views.

An Lam is an oasis in the sprawling city of Saigon. Nestled away next to the Saigon river, be prepared to soak in a different Saigon. Greenery, tranquility and wellness are the words that come to mind when I think An Lam.

Too much shade at the pool. The staff took pictures of our sheets when we were checking out ( assuming looking for stains) which I found very strange and awkward. Tried to charge us for a dirty wash cloth, although I managed to speak to the manager who took the charge of the bill. very strange for a 5 star hotel not to provide cotton for make removal and then try charging you for leaving their towels dirty.
