The location of the apartment is just perfect. You’re staying in a lively neighborhood with lots of bars and the city center just around the corner, the possibility to park the car, grocery shops and boulangeries just at your doorstep. At the same time it is extremely quiet and you look into a green courtyard. The kitchen is well-equipped and the apartment spacious enough for a long weekend for a couple. The host was super friendly. There was a power outage when we arrived and she offered to cancel the stay for free. Communication was very smooth.

When we stayed there was something wrong with the plumbing system. We had to keep the windows open all the time because there was a really bad smell coming from the sinks. Also, it was not very clean. There were quite some dust covers and the plates were not clean. Overall, the apartment needs a make-over as the paint is coming off in places, the blinds and some of the surfaces in the bathroom just look used. The wardrobe and most of the furniture was filled with stuff so that there was no place to hang or put the clothes. similarly, the kitchen drawers were untidy. We had to pay in cash, which is rather unconventional and inconvenient. Despite these points of improvement, you get good value for money.

Excellent position, quiet but close to old town. Comfortable bed. Suitably equiped. Warm during cold spell of weather. Very secure.

Persistant smell of drains. Small, rather rough towels. Only coffee maker available used pods-cafetiere would have been more welcome. Wrong address given to collect keys.

Our host was lovely and very patient with me as my data roaming was down and lost communication. The bathroom was lovely and spacious, the beds were super comfortable,the apartment was very chique and welcoming. Fantastic location. Slept so well. Would love to stay again.

We were only there for 2 nights

Upon arrival we were met by Corrine who was friendly and very helpful. The Apartment is beautiful!..very quaint, stylish, comfortable, spotlessly clean and in a perfect! location. We loved it and will definitely be returning.

There was nothing not to like.

Great location in the heart of Lille, a lots of nice local shops and restaurants/cafes around. Easy walking distance to the mainline train stations. Friendly owner and they are very flexible on check-in time which was really convenient for us. Large public indoor parking space is available within short walk. The room comes with a double bed and 2 singles which are on the loft space - great for kids.
