Difficult to find on the map because they changed the name of the hotel. Rooms was super tiny.

Pillow sheets had some stains, but there were clean. Air Conditioner unit wasn't as cold as it should've been, especially in the summer.

I couldn't mirroring my device screen on the TV which was not what I expected. But, I don't know if it didn't work because of the TV or my device so I don't judge the hotel for that. And I will stay there when I visit Kyoto again.

Very conveniently located near the train station, although a good 20 min walk from the more "lively" neighborhood in the city. Room is standard APA hotels, which is quite good and functional for Japan. Breakfast was quite good, traditional Japanese style.

Extremely well located. Just one street away from Kyoto Station. Many restaurants nearby, as well as temples and malls and a convenience store. Extremely cost beneficial for the location. Despite the room being on the smaller side, it had all necessary amenities and more (such as hair dyer, full bathroom kit, and even slippers etcetc)

The only restaurant inside closes rather early. But it's not a big problem due to the location, you can find food for any taste in less than 5min walking. Staff isn't too proficient at English, but the language barrier can be easily solved with translation apps for out of the normal questions, and the staff was very willing to try and help

The location is a real bonus. Less than 3 mins walk to Kyoto Station. My room was made up nicely each day. There is a cafe beside the front desk where you can chill out after a day of sightseeing.

It's a fairly cheap hotel located in a convenient place. It's very close to main train and bus stations. It's also few minutes walk to Keihan line that is also very useful. Multiple bus stops that go to key places are very close by. For food/drinks there are quite a few restaurants, food courts in Yodobashi and Porta. Just be ready to wait in lines. Few konbini around to get some quick snack or drink.

Rooms were made to look clean, but in many places they weren't. Air inlets must be cleaned regularly, but in our rooms they looked like they were never cleaned. It you smoke then it might be a good idea to look for a other hotel. Smoking floor stank horribly. For whatever reason it seemed like staff disabled ventillation at some hours. Smoking room should be a place where you can smoke. Not to inhale fumes all the time. Sad thing is that as some times it didn't stink that much so it was possible to ventilate but most of the time it was disabled - probably to save costs. Single elevator in such tall building will become an annoyance very quickly especially during cleaning hours. Loud TV turning on every time you enter the room is small annoyance but still an annoyance. Especially that every time it start on special "hotel channel" that throws at you same loud commercials (yes - volume settings also do reset each time) and some APA nonsense. First thing I did every time was to either to shut it off.

Fair room for the price paid. Its close to Kyoto station and Yodabashi Kyoto, there is also a convenience store right beside the hotel. Staff is friendly and nice and super honest. I accidentally left my phone and some other things in the room when I checked out and when I came back a few hours later, my phone and all the other stuff I left were all neatly packed by the cleaning crew when they gave it back to me. Thank you!

Room is reaaally dusty. Roll in bed wearing black and youll see how it turns to gray.
