Lovely hotel in a scenic spot. The staff was very friendly and they even organised a kayak tour for us. We had a fantastic 4-course dinner in the restaurant with very fresh fish.

Everything , the place was remarkable,the staff was incredible I got hurt and they took care of me as if I was part of their family.I will always remember this wonderful place thank you for all that you did for me. Sven, can't thank you enough!

Staff and rooms were really great the surrounding landscapes aswell.

You can't turn the lights on the terrace off, which illuminate your room at night.

Long wait to check-in due to staff busy talking to another customer.

Beautiful surroundings. Friendly and helpful staff Charming room with excellent views over the harbour. Super comfortable bed for tall people. Don't miss out on the seafood!

The location and view is wonderful, and the restaurant is very good. The room was also very comfortable.

The description of the rooms and property are misleading here on booking.com. It is or was written that there is a tv in every room, which isn’t the case. It is written that all guests have access to a spa and sauna, which is true but it is not complementary, you have to pay for access of both. The spa is independent of the hotel, but is well driven and the owner is very friendly, I highly recommend it if you are there. But it should be written differently in the description of the hotel. As for the sauna, we asked to book it and no one at any time informed us of the cost when we booked it with the hotel staff (we were only two) so we didn’t think much of it as we thought it was complimentary. Only at the time of check out we got the bad and expensive surprise, which they made us pay even though no one at anytime informed us of the cost (they did made us pay half of the total cost only, in the end). So we left with a last bad experience, to an otherwise very nice stay at Knutholmen.
