Awesome location! Had a great dinner one night at the Italian place around the corner and watched the sunset on the next night. The unit was fully self contained and had everything we needed, couldn't have asked for more.

No fuss access and warm interior with a lovely quiet room which was very comfortable. Loved the beach and proximity to a fabulous restaurant overlooking the sea. Breakfast at the salt water baths cafe on the esplanade watching the sea and surfers.

Nice location near the beach, partial ocean views, clean, room to spread out, some interesting original features.

The mattress was horrible, awful, terrible. The only negative about the apartment, but a vital part of the stay had a serious effect on our sleep and backs.

the location by the beach was lovely with 3 very good cafe/restaurants round the corner. excellent for beach walks, surfing and near enough to town to see the sights there too. the apartment was spacious and comfortable

cooking facilities were limited, just a microwave and plug in hob

The location, at St Clair, is fabulous especially since we were traveling with two vehicles and parking in Central Dunedin is at a premium.

We opted for a ground floor room or series of rooms. The bathroom was dreadfully organised. With not a lot more expenditure it could have been delightful & efficient. The shower in the middle with of the room is horribly positioned so accessing the wash hand basin & toilet is arduous As it is the toilet is cheap, too low to the ground & has low quality plastic seat. The kitchen is OK but the Robert Harris coffee sachet was an insult. The lounge bleak with black white & grey decor. I should give decorators a break since the spaces are odd. The bedroom. The bed was a double, a double!! I had the worst night’s sleep I have had in years. It is actually a pretty room but seriously neglected. The mattress & pillows have done their time. The whole place is perfectly clean but the decision needed here are not by cleaners but rather by the owners. We do accommodation in three countries so understand the rigors of COVID. My suggestion is the the hosts move into each of these apartments for a week & get a feel for the accommodation they provide.

convenient, value, clean, seaside location, loved its historical significance, its story , significance in the history of St Claire, the restoration, and excellent pizza’s down the road.

front door lockbox code didn’t work. only gained access by chance when other guests came out. not so keen on having to go thru a communal laundry, but accept there is no other option and reflected in the price, so OK.

People up above me sounded like elephants when they were there. They did help one morning to get out of bed and go to the beach and watch the sunrise
