Room was very clean and comfortable. Ideal location for accessing M5. Good place for a stopover break enroute to Cornwall. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.

location was good, for Budleigh Salterton,Exeter,Bicton.big free car park, on a main Rd but very quiet inside. bus stop outside to Exeter and Exmouth.
Breakfast was exceptional, fabulous choice.We dined in one evening,average £16, for one course , very good portions.
Room was comfortable,usual facilities.I personally found pillows too hard. (Just a little niggle). Nice to have room made up when out.
no granola or cereals available on Bank hol Monday. WiFi connection although free was not the best.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome.
The staff are all so friendly and accomadating a special mention to Tracy who is the nicest lady ever she really went out of her way to make our stay special.
I celebrated my Birthday while we were there and we had my elderly parents who were looked after 100% by Tracy an asset to the hotel.
Nothing our stay was amazing.

spacious bedroom. comfortable bed. bar/restaurant were pleasant
bathroom was tiny although lovely big shower cubicle. not enough coat hangers in the room. menu choices were limited for a vegetarian with the fish fryer being broken and limited stock of other choices.

Room was clean and well maintained. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean and 2 shower heads to choose from! Breakfast was a bit different and some interesting items such as the beetroot hash fritter. Room was serviced and replenished / refreshed each day.
Having to use an app to order drinks outside was a bit challenging for us oldies!

My horse was at the referral vet up the road so this was the perfect location to stay over night. Lots of parking, lovely room with a big comfy bed., I liked the fact you weren't rushed out the next morning, having until midday to check out. nice laid back friendly atmosphere. And a lovely pub with delicious evening meals and breakfast 😋
I'd definitely stay again if I was around that way.
