L'accueil

This is a remarkable Ibis. An hour from Calais, we were looking for a clean, quiet stop before going back to UK: it gave us that but so much more. It has a really good, good value restaurant in the hotel . Breakfast is very good and not the normal Ibis fare. Staff are excellent and always friendly. This was our 3rd stay here.

Please, please improve the wifi.

Good location just off A16 with fields beyond, so nice and quiet. Comfortable bed, but pillow dreadful !! Nice continental breakfast buffet.

We brought our dog and weren't charged and were made welcome with everywhere.

All was fine.

Quite a large room on the ground floor that was good for us as we had a lot of luggage. Clean, a very large comfortable bed with excellent crisp, clean bedding. Check in was quick and efficient and parking was right outside reception. The room had been cleaned to a high standard and the bathroom was spotless. What made our stay was the excellent on site restaurant, the food was exceptional, a good choice at reasonable prices and the hardworking waitress couldn’t have been nicer. We were sceptical about this on arrival as restaurants at the Ibis in the UK can be poor but this exceeded our expectations, breakfast was good too and great coffee!

The bathroom was a bit small although the shower was big and it’s a car journey into Abbeville but otherwise it suited our purpose fine.

Nothing to improve on

Easy to find, close to the autoroute. Plenty of parking, rooms were clean.

No kettle in the rooms, which is a simple thing to add to make a guest’s stay better. Restaurant food was good but pricy. Dinner and Breakfast for a family of four came to 125 euros for pretty standard fare.

Nothing to dislike

The room was comfortable, and cool (outside was 30C), and had all we needed for a one-night stay. It was very quiet (considering there was a function in the restaurant and quite a few other guests. The staff were super, and speak good English when needed. Impressive. We are vegetarians, there were 3 options for the evening meal, and we were well catered for. The hotel is handy to approach from the A16 and it is quick to get onto the Calais road the next day. Happy to recommend this hotel.

Again, very happy to "overnight" on long journey. Happy, welcoming staff, good food with no delays (even though they had a coach party in !) Sorting out minor room problem whilst we ate.

We have stayed here before and find it very convenient for everything and also very dog friendly which is very important to us.

The location and staff at this hotel exceeded our expectations. The food menu is limited but what was available was fine.
