We have been to PR before and stayed a few miles west of here. Check in was seamless. This location is primo.
1) Its a quiet location. Zero traffic noise from Isla Verde Ave.
2) If you are going to Fajardo or San Juan, its a quick hop on 26.
3) Nearby restaurants less touristy and really good.
The views are spectacular. You wake up to a gorgeous sunrise. Condo itself is updated and has everything you need to cook. No icemaker, so pickup a bag of ice from the mercado.
Closet has beach chairs, cooler and a few other beachy things.
Walls are concrete, you dont hear any noise from any neighbors.
Protip: With the AC turn on the dehumidifier mode (looks like rain droplets icon). It lowers the humidity and you dont have to turn it down as much. Plus is quieter. Grew up in an area like PR and most people dont know this.
Please be kind. There are many residents living in the building and they are all super nice :)

The location was okay and the place looked like the pictures for the most part. Looking back I thought the black spots on the curtains were mold/mildew but I’ve been getting bite marks the last couple days (the day after we got back) and pulled a bedbug off of me last night. Now I have to spend the next few days of my vacation (I took another flight to visit family) laundering all our clothes, cleaning the rental car and hope to God it doesn’t infest our houses. I’m never staying in a VRBO again.

Great location..walking distance to numerous restaurants and a casino. Ocean comes right up to back steps. Very quiet place...we only saw a handful of other people in the condo all week. Great AC and nice size TV. We had zero problems getting ubers within minutes every time.

The apartment was a wonderful getaway. The location was beachfront and the beach was never crowded. It was wonderful to open the slider/bedroom windows & listen to the surf every evening. We slept great! We could walk to many restaurants in Isla Verde and it was a short ride to old San Juan. We used Uber a lot & never had a problem. One very nice feature is the apartment comes with a parking spot inside the gated community if you decide to rent a car (which we did). Parking on the street would be a headache. We would definitely stay hear again. Just FYI - the apartment is very close to the airport which is good in one way but you can also hear and see them takeoff all day/evening which can be very loud.

My stay was good. I love the location of this condo. The room was smaller than expected and the building could use some updating. The elevator was broken so we had to keep walking up many flights of stairs which was annoying . Great location and Carmen was extremely accommodating .

Communication with Carmen was great! Her place is beautiful and the view is amazing!! It was perfect for my fiancé and I. It was very clean and equipped with everything you need. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

Overall, our stay was good! We had some issues checking in. The housekeeping wasn't finished yet, so we were not able to get the keys. This delay wasn't communicated to us so we were waiting trying to get ahold of someone. There had been some work going on in the unit because of the AC unit. The one wall was torn apart and we were not made aware of this until we were checking in. There were some issues with the elevators while we were there as well. One elevator never worked and the other only worked part of the time. The balcony and view was great! The beach was really nice as well.

It was our first time traveling out of the US and we were so thrilled with this property. The view was incredible. there were some issues with the AC but Carmen contacted me before we even checked in to let me know & to tell me maintenance was going to come out. Overall really really nice. And would definitely stay here again!

Walking distance to everything you would need, a short cab or Uber ride away from Old San Juan and the airport which was super convenient. The sunrises and sunsets from the porch were my favorite part. The trip was for our honeymoon and we definitely made memories we will never forget!

Overall, the apartment was as pictured and waking up to the sunrise and waves crashing every morning followed by a walk on the beach was my favorite part of the vacation. Felt safe the whole time and there is great security on site and in this community! Would definitely stay again.

The balcony is the best part! I loved sitting on it every day. Even when we had a rainy day, we were still able to sit on it and enjoy the view. Everything is as shown in the listing. The building is quiet and you cannot beat the location -- you have two beaches steps from the building and it's walking distance to just about anything you'd need.

This property was just what we expected. The view was amazing! We had everything we needed for our stay, close to restaurants etc. The beach was right out the back of the property. We loved seeing the birds flying by the large windows. Would definitely recommend.

Entering the property was a wonderful and pleasant surprise, the ocean view was spectacular! The studio was very clean. We did have an incident with the air conditioning! We contacted Carmen and she was able to get it resolved! Carmen the host communicated well with us whenever we had questions.
Others have commented about the shower and how the water sets the floor because the shower is pretty open!
In any case, my husband and would definitely stay again!

This condo is every bit as nice as the pictures indicate. And the beach location is fantastic. The condo appears to be very recently updated. Not just furniture, but also new kitchen and bathroom. Very clean and well kept. The balcony doors fully open and fold back to give a huge opening to the ocean view. BEAUTIFUL!!We felt very safe and secure here with 3 keys required to get in (gate/lobby, elevator, and condo all have separate keys). It is a gated parking lot as well so a beeper/remote control is provided for your car. Isla Verde beach is beautiful. It is half soft sand and half rough, shelly sand. This condo is in the soft sand area. It was not a crowded beach at all. If you like a crowded beach you can go across the street a half block to the right and the other side of the point was a much busier beach. Several restaurants and a Walgreens drug store were easily in walking distance. We loved our stay, and wish we could have stayed longer.

As a couple, we were looking for a very particular setting, in which to celebrate my husband's birthday, as well as other things. This apartment was designed with couples who really enjoy each other's company in mind. The space and its amenities are inviting, cozy and comfortable. From the minute one walks in, the full ocean view captivates your sight; and you can think of nothing else but about relaxing and enjoying each second. It's like you are on a cruise in a rather large cabin, with a superb balcony. My favorites were the foldable glass window 'wall' off the balcony, and the unique shower. We 'folded' open the balcony window wall early in the morning and at night. It was awesome! The location of the apartment is very convenient, with establishments of all sorts all around you. No need to even leave the area during your stay. We have already said we'd definitely go back; and plan to tell our family and friends about this perfect 'home away from home', in the heart of Isla Verde, Puerto Rico!!!👍👍

My overall experience was great. The owners and housekeeper are very attentive and accommodating. At first site when we pulled up to the condo, I was a little concerned of the appearance of the building itself, but once we went into the actual apartment it is just as it appears in the photos and the view of the ocean is fantastic. Location is also very convenient, able to walk to many of the local restaurants, stores and hotels/casinos. Really enjoyed out stay.

This is a great property. The unit itself looks just like the pictures and was clean and very nice. It has a wonderful view and the walk to the beach is so close, just out a couple of doors. We didn't have a car and walked to nearby restaurants and resorts. There is a city bus close also if you want to explore other areas. This place is a keeper!

Condo is just as pretty as the pictures show. You will be impressed. The location is right on the water. Have coffee each morning on the balcony with the sea breeze and sunrise. Walk out the back door onto the beach. Or walk 5 min to the resort hotels, more beach, casinos, and restaurants. Location is perfect! You have the best of both worlds in this location, a quiet beach on one side and the tourist beach on the other side. If you want to impress your spouse with 5 star accommodations and a romantic setting this is the place. Hector and Carmen will treat you right. Very accommodating and flexible. Walgreens nearby is you forgot anything.
Rent a car and head to El Yunque rain forest (1 hr). Make sure you take the short hike to La Mina Falls and jump on in. Fantastic. Take bus #T5 or #53 to Old San Juan (25 min) for 75 cents each way. Great restaurants, shops and Castillo San Felipe del Morro.

The apartment was nice. It was clean, it had most everything you would need. Missing a few common kitchen utensils, but that only matters if you plan on cooking in a lot. Neighborhood and building was a little run down but the apartment itself is nice. Beach was not to busy, clear water, well maintained. Hector picked us up from the airport and helped us with our bags. There is car rental options withing walking distance. Make sure to bring all your toiletries and lotions with you or hit the Walgreen's nearby because they aren't amenities. Nice restaurants nearby, we liked the metropol. 2 grocery stores a ways away so you might want to have a car to bring your stuff back from them. It was a nice experience, and I did like the room.

Our stay at this apartment clearly exceed our expectations, notwithstanding the fact that our selection was based on the fabulous pictures we saw. It offers a "boutique hotel high-end" scenario for a memorable romantic escape. Equipped with updated technology it made accessible our own itunes, pandora, etc. account. The location is priviledged and seems that you have found a "hidden jewel". Ocean front with a breathteaking view. The beach is calm, quite and as closed as possible as having a "private beach". However you have that availability to take an over two mile walk in the beach through "Isla Verde" boarding among others the Ritz Carlton hotel located steps from the location.
The staff that assisted us was great and worked through to offer us comfortness to the extent possible.
Closed to a variety of restaurants ranging from high-end restaurants such as Ruth Chris and BLT, to cuban Metropol as well as healthy choices such as Bajuice.
If you are looking for a great romantic escape you would not go wrong in any aspect with this choice. Hoping to revisit as soon as possible!

The cozy beautiful apartment was exactly as advertised and tastefully decorated - beach chic! The views from this beach front property are superb and tranquil with easy access to miles of beach for early morning walks and swimming. Since several major hotels share the miles of beach, rentals are available for other water activities. Walgreen's is two blocks away and the Isla Verde Avenue is close by with major hotels (El San Juan) and restaurants (Chili's etc.) I highly recommend Metropol restaurant for delicious local food! Metropol delivers and also has an online app. My sister and I enjoyed our stay at this apartment. We rented a car from Enterprise at El San Juan Hotel for our sightseeing excursions.
The manager Carmen Medina and the owner, Hector Guerrero were readily available and responded to our concerns about the slow shower drain. We have stayed at several VRBO and Homeaway properties and this rental is one of the best! We have added this unit to our short list of repeat rentals and plan to return later this year.

We rented the condo for one week for our anniversary. From June 21 - 28 2014. Everything has been updated, so it was all brand new. So new, that kitchen utensils still had price tags on them. This was our first time using VRBO. We wanted to be able to have a full kitchen, and not be in the crowds of the big resorts. Also, we wanted to venture out and not eat in expensive hotels 3 meals per day. The condo was perfect for this. It is walking distance to a 24/7 Walgreens to get any essentials and near a few 24/7 restaurants. Also, the best part is it is right on the beach. You can wake up and look at the ocean from your balcony. Condo comes equipped with everything you need for the beach, like chairs, umbrella, towels, and cooler. You literally go down the elevator and out the gate is the beach. Showers outside to rinse sand off. If you want to book any tours or rent water sports equipment you can walk 2 minutes over to the Ritz and they have all the touristy rentals. We walked to the Concierge at El San Juan to inquire about bio bay tours to find that they were much more expensive. So we decided to walk over and rent a car for the day and drive to the Southwest coast of Puerto Rico and do a snorkel and bio bay tour. Car was $47 total with insurance. Far better than paying $110/person for just kayak and transport to the bio bay from the hotels. The car allows to explore the other areas without booking pricey tours. We spent most our time on the very quiet beach. It is close to hotels but far enough away that you aren't right on top of each other on the beach. So it is very private. Hector was incredibly friendly and helpful. We originally told him we would not have a car, but when we changed our minds he came to drop off the gate opener no problem. The people in the building are very friendly and it is very quiet even though it's close to the airport. Cab from the airport was $20 with tip. And when you're on the beach you can see the planes take off in the horizon. This is perfect for two people. Location is great and easy to get to anything. Huge flat screen TV with Apple TV, DVD player, and cable. Although you will not be watching much TV, it was nice to eat our meals and turn it on. Shower drain was slow, but considering everything else that was great about the place we didn't mind. If we come back we will definitely stay here again and rent a car for longer since there's a secure parking lot under the building. And building is secure.
