The loft was great. The view from the window and terrace is excellent. You have to reckon with the fact that sometimes the staff needs to come to you, they have a store with bedding. A tea kettle and mugs were missing, but they lent us everything at my request. The hotel has its own free parking a little further down, but it was almost always occupied. There is a paid parking at 1 min walk next to the police station: 6 euro day and 1 euro night.

The family room is on the main floor and no balcony. That was bid a disappointing for us.

Location only a few minutes from the main road, 10min walk to the train station. Lovely view from the balcony. Room was basic but that's all you need really. Breakfast traditional Austrian, coffee was delicious!! NOTE: BIG PLUS is they offer rooms with a Single supplement. Its very off putting as those solo shouldn't have to pay for 2ppl, 2breakfasts when only 1person is staying. Its feels greedy and I take my business elsewhere. I only wish more properties offered this. Thankyou!!

The smell in the bathroom. Its the pipes and not uncommon for this to happen in lots of different countries, its of no real fault of the owners. Although having a diffuser or something to combat the smell would be helpful. Could upgrade the shower heads, those old handles that sit in the hook are outdated and not easily manoeuvred.

The rooms were clean and the staff was really nice!

Very nice accommodation, great view onto the nice town of Ebensee, very friendly staff and easy check-in process, safe little idyllic town setting, great breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, clean room, parking worked out nicely too - you just park around 200m from the hotel near one of the main streets, but you can unload your car front of the hotel, so no issue with that.

I prefer to have a kettle in the room to prepare a drink in the afternoon or evening when you arrive to your room, but on the contrary, there was an option to grab a hot beverage in the breakfast room or a cold beverage in a vending machine for a small fee, so this was a nice option in the end that we used too. In the family studio, be prepared that you have 3 beds in one room and 1 in the other - it was fine for us like that though. Just normally, you would expect the beds to be organized 2+2 in a family room when you come with 2 kids.
