Very pretty little property, warm and cosy. Our room was big enough for us and had a balcony which in summer would be lovely, We had snow and it looked so pretty.

We liked everything about the property. The only thing it lacked was a full size mirror.

I am so in love with the little Guesthouse!! Mario and Constanze made us feel at home and helped us a lot with advices for us to better enjoy Salzburg. The location is in a very safe and quiet residential area, within a walking distance to the altstad (old town) The room was very comfortable and the balcony view every morning was very special. Everything very clean and welcoming. The breakfast has very good options and you really feel like you are eating in your home kitchen. Having breakfast in the Garden is also an option. I wish I had more days to stay in Salzburg and for sure in The Little Guesthouse.

Beautifully appointed guesthouse with modern decor and bathroom. Lovely breakfast and exceptional hospitality from Mario and Constance. Helpful staff who were so efficient in cleaning our room. All in all a pleasure to stay there and would highly recommend.

Location, Ambience, Hospitality

A fabulous hotel fully justifying its high ranking on tripadvisor. The staff cannot do enough to help, the room is clean and spacious and its situation close to the river and just twenty mins from the centre is excellent. Breakfast was excellent but even better is the fact that you can take it in the beautiful garden which was the perfect start to the day.

While located in a super safe and quiet area of the town it was one for few places we stayed that we couldn't walk to from the rail station. That said it was easy enough in the taxi which cost 15 euros. I would have given 10/10 but it was very warm when we stayed and the room does lack air con. We were provided with a fan but the first night in particular was very uncomfortable. Also, whilst there is a communal fridge with drinks to purchase there isn't a fridge in the room to cool your own water. Add these two and the Little Guesthouse would be perfect.

Very welcoming and comfortable

Garden around the house - it is possible to take meal ( e.g. really good breakfast) outside or spend some time in a green (soothing). You can talk to rabbits too :-). Private parking place. You can use a bicycle available there. Everything His clean and and tidy ( inside/outiside). Helpful staff - everyone we met in accommodation was ready to help. All the time.

Quiet and good location

What a wonderful little oasis in Salzburg. Just a short walk through a park and along the river to the old town, this property is located in a quiet location away from the town’s hustle and bustle. Breakfast was wonderful and the property has a kitchen/dining area that is accessible 24 hours. Tea, coffee, snacks and other beverages were always available. The reasonably priced wine and beer were purchased by simply writing your purchase down on a sheet. Delicious cake was available- gratis- every afternoon. Mario, his wife and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Their English was very good, and I suspect just one of several languages spoken.

Hosts really looked after us. Made us feel as welcomed as possible. Service standard was excellent. My girlfriend and I were wowwed by the friendliness and kindness shown to us. Guest house was incredibly clean, spacious and really perfect in every way.

The Little Guest House is situated in a quiet residential area in an elegant Salzburg building. We were warmly welcomed, given helpful information and offered drinks and cake on arrival. The coffee is excellent and always freely available to guests (as is the cake!). There was also an honesty system for other drinks such as wine and beer. Our room was exactly as described and was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was excellent with many choices including fresh fruits, breads, cheese, meats, cakes and other high quality options. The pleasant walk into town took about 15 minutes alongside the river Salzach, past a park with a small lake with great views of the Fortress Hohensalzburg on one side and the Kapuzinerberg on the other. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here and would love to return.
