Fantastic stay at Aparthotel Hummerau. Great rooms and hotel set up. The staff were very friendly and the owner Marina was incredibly helpful, we were made to feel very welcome. The hotel also has a nice sauna area accessible in the evening. Locationwise it's perfect for the skilifts, literally a two minute walk over the road. Not quite so great for the evenings though as most of the restaurants and bars are in Alpbach, ten minutes or so by car and too far to walk when it's -10 outside. This was a small compromise though and it's pretty easy to get a taxi back if necessary. Overall, we were delighted with our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks! Chris

Hotel staff were friendly, accommodation was clean and hotel situation in beautiful location.

Breakfast selection was limited and hot food was not available (other than boiling yourself an egg).

Pillows a little uncomfortable

Marina and Gerhardt were excellent hosts and were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The location is central to the town and around 150m from the gondola for the ski slopes. The rooms were well spaced, very clean, tidy and well equipped.

The only ‘snag’ (and it was our fault really) was that the apartments did not have towels included, but a friendly word with Marina and it was soon sorted!

Close to the ski lift - easy walk across the street. Approx. 2-300 meters.

The heating system took awhile to adjust but Marina was very helpful.

Everything else was great. Very close to the gondola, right accross the street. Every day room cleaning. Great hosts. Very warm room. Ski room with heated rack for the boots. Nice big clean shower room.

The breakfast was nice, but the same everybday and the quantities too low (7-8 slices of 3-4 types of ham and salami, 6-7 slices of cucumber, 6-7 slices of red peper, 5-6 slices of cream cheese for all the guests.) You had to be careful not to eat too much because the others would have nothing left. No omlet, pies or or other hot products, only eggs that you could boil yourself. A boiler would have been great to have in the room, for making a tea in the evening.

Location was perfect just few mins(by car) from Alpbach center. Lovely to walk arounf-d the area. Few local restaurants that the host recommended was great. Breakfast was simple but really good. Host was very nice :) I would repeat this stay if I ever return to this area :)
