Bedding was filthy, and we had to call management to get it changed as the houskipibv staff could bearly speak English. I'd not recommend this hotel unless you're on a tight budget and need 1-2 night stay.

Friendly staff, good breakfast. Bathroom OK but in need of refurbishment. Good views of the city but that means you need a Tuk Tuk to get there - but that's not expensive. OK for a night or two.

Hotel has one of the best views of the Kandy Lake. Early check-in. Big room and balcony. Building is stylish and has won architecture award. Wifi connection and internet speed is good.

You have to climb steep road to get there. Breakfast is mediocre at best, but price is not cheap. No hot water. Powercut. Big sign "No drone zone".

Everything a bit older compared to the pictures, pool wasn't clean and it's way up the mountain, so if you're looking for something within walking distance to the city centre that's not the right hotel

Bathroom door wouldn’t close and the blanket had a stain on it. Minor issues in an otherwise excellent experience.

Lovely location, helpful staff, big room, they provided a good vegetarian breakfast. Sandwich, fruits and juice.

Things provided were less. Toiletries etc were not available.

I had to wait until I left Sri Lanka because they had already threatened my driver with violence and I was scared. There was one young boy (the only one working) who was as helpful as he could be. I liked nothing else. I'm expecting the owner to get nasty on my review, but I am shocked at what I experienced here and I wouldn't be surprised. Thanks Booking.com for having my back and allowing me to not pay for this dump.

I know the industry went through a tough time. But there is no excuse for not caring about your guests. I also know you get what you pay for, but the low price wasn't low enough for this dump. I left this place after dark when we discovered that the WiFi didn't work, the aircon didn't work and there was no hot water. There was also no food available. The room was dirty with lots of dust, marks on the bedding, dusty curtains and a nasty bathroom. I felt sick when we got there and so I took a short nap. When I woke up I was covered in bites. This was the middle of the day so I shudder to think what bit me! Eventually I couldn't take all the issues anymore and left. The manager and owner were very aggressive when I said I won't pay for such a horrible experience. I even said we could go to the police station. They called my driver and threatened him. I didnt stay for breakfast but I believe it was going to be jam and toast and fruit. Sri Lanka and Sri Lankan hospitality is amazing. This place is absolutely awful. I stayed in far cheaper places with more heart and far less disgusting.

front desk I’ve asked to book for me trishaw to go nearest city when the vehicle came it was not what I’ve expected. super expensive also I can’t put my luggage as well. sooooo disappointment please rectify or advise. SERVICE FIRST PAYMENT SECOND he keep insisted me to pay during my stay.

Loved the comfort of this place. Nice lounge area with comfortable couches and great natural light. the dining and outdoor area was nice. Plus I loved the views.
